Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, who made a table of eleven with tired children welcome at 9pm and fed a late arrival just before closing a grilled ribeye and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken in under half an hour. Food praise is close behind, with the pizza, fresh pasta and a lighter spaghetti carbonara named, plus a lunch deal one diner calls incredible value. A works group that pre-ordered found service quick and smooth, and one regular says portions are very filling. The caveats centre on quality and value. One diner found a rib-eye sinewy despite being cooked to the requested rare, and thought a risotto meagre for its price. Another disliked garlic bread with cheese arriving stacked so the pieces were hard to eat. One reviewer called the service regular, with nothing to complain about. Celebrations bring the most memorable gestures, a complimentary glass of Prosecco for a son's birthday and a bottle of champagne for a bride and groom the night before their wedding.

“We went out to celebrate my cousin and her husbands wedding day (night before wedding) 8 adults and 3 children. We initially had planned to go to a nearby restaurant however when we entered we were told they couldn’t sit a table of 11 due to the kitchen running out of ingredients. We walked past this restaurant on the way and decided to return. we were greeted beautifully and a table was made available for us. the staff throughout were excellent. due to the time of the meal 9pm the 3 children were getting tired but the staff made them feel welcome and they weren’t a problem when they kept moving around the table. Maria also gave the bride and groom a bottle of champagne which was a perfect addition to a beautiful meal! every staff member went above and beyond and I would 100% recommended this restaurant to anyone. the food was quick and presentation was incredible, not to mention the taste of everything, so fresh and beautiful! thank you to all the staff for a beautiful evening!”

“We walked in just before closing the night of the World Cup match between England and Argentina. We try hard never to do that ( !!! ) but we were hungry, just back from a road trip and desperate for a good meal before all the restaurants closed. Our sweet hostess received us graciously and the chef whipped out a grilled ribeye and a beautiful Caesar salad with grilled chicken smothered in parmesan in nothing flat. Lovely glass of house Chardonnay. We were out of there in less than half an hour, happy and well fed. Thank you, Wildwood, for coming to our rescue! :)”

“We love it here. Always amazing service and lovely staff. Never been let down by the food or service. They do offer Blue Light Discount. Food is outstanding and portions are very filling. I came in wanting a pudding, but ended up not having room - guess I’ll have to come back 🤷 10/10. Would recommend”

“Wildwood Italian in Salisbury is truly a gem! We celebrated my son's birthday there, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it perfect for a family gathering. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt special, even surprising my son with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious—fresh pasta, flavorful pizzas, and mouthwatering desserts. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. It’s clear that the team at Wildwood Italian cares about their guests. We left feeling satisfied and happy, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I walked past this place and decided to give it a go, and I'm so glad I did! The food was top-notch; I loved the lighter spaghetti carbonara and side salad. The atmosphere was just right, and the service was friendly and attentive – they really made me feel welcome. Plus, the lunch deal was incredible value for money. I’ll definitely be back!”
