  “Lovely roast dinner, deserts, & drinks today at The Sun which was exceptionally good value for money and very tasty. I had the lamb and my partner the roast chicken. The staff were very friendly, the service prompt and efficient, and the pub itself has a warm, welcoming ambience. Loved the show posters on the ceiling, records on some walls and the cosy lights and so pleased to see live music advertised on Friday and Saturdays. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you”

  “Lovely pub with a large beer garden out back. Home cooked food, great prices for the pints and lovely staff. I would highly recommend this pub for its prices and its friendliness. Loads going on as well. First Tuesday of the month is drag bingo (not for the easily offended but what drag bingo is?) Darts team play on Wednesday nights, music bingo and karaoke Thursday nights, live music inside Friday nights and in the summer live music Saturday afternoons outside (weather permitting) followed by karaoke in the evening inside. Every other Sunday there’s a pub quiz so lots to do. Great atmosphere with friendly locals so it’s a great place to make friends. The food is not prepackaged and is home made to order, great selection of gluten free and vegetarian dishes as well. There’s offers on food Monday to Thursday including a seniors menu. There’s an awesome breakfast at the weekends. The Sunday roast is also a must as I am a roast potato snob and love them!”

  “Staff are an absolute credit to the business. After our car being hit the lady behind the bar (forgot to get the name) and her daughter helped us in every way possible. My daughter was distraught and the lovely staff allowed her to sit inside and offered her cakes to make her feel safe and calm. Often checked in on her to make sure she was ok. Due to the situation we obviously couldnt stop and eat but if we ever come back this way we would absolutely love to do so.”

  “We was in a car accident on the way to our holiday. This happened opposite The Sun Inn. They were so helpful, incredibly kind to myself, my other half, but especially to my daughter. Could not rate them highly enough, they were so kind, friendly and caring to us all.”
