Customer Review Summary

Tuna uramaki is the dish diners name most, praised by three reviewers alongside the dumplings, the bao, and a Thai green curry one reviewer called very tasty. Close behind are the Chong Qing chilli chicken, sizzling Sichuan lamb, chicken yakitori, and a triple chocolate brownie and cheesecake. Servers are repeatedly described as kind and attentive, and one group of twelve preordered its Christmas meal and found it went without fuss. The complaints are specific. Pad thai drew criticism twice, once as not to the table's liking and once as very sweet. One diner also called the dragon roll sweet, and another found its dynamite prawn outer soggy. Two reviewers say starters and mains arrived almost together. One private dining group felt rushed by a manager repeatedly asking for orders and noted that people could see straight into the room. One diner found the DJ loud, while another praised the music selection. One reviewer who preferred the starters to the mains would stick to starters and sushi next time.

“I visited Minoa for their date night offer on Wednesdays. We had a really enjoyable experience, with the restaurant beautifully designed and each dish looking exquisite. The food was tasty - we ordered a range of items. The standouts for me were the Shake Urumaki and Tuna Urumaki. We also had the bang bang broccoli which personally was too battered for me, however had a delicious sauce on top. For mains, we tried the lamb chops and chicken yakitori. The chicken was very nice and had a teriyaki sauce on top. The lamb chops were charred well, but personally I’d ask for them a little rarer as they were quite well done. Both noodles and rice dishes on the side were great additions. Desserts were 10/10 - we had the triple chocolate brownie and cheesecake and I’d suggest both of them to finish the meal in the best way. Overall we had a lovely evening and it was good to see a local restaurant thriving with lots of people! My only suggestion for improvement would be to bring the starters and mains separately, as these came extremely close together. I’d rate it a 4/5 overall and am looking forward to returning.”

“We had a wonderful dining experience in the private lounge. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served promptly in a welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Mohit and Vishali, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. They were warm, attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism and attention to detail really enhanced our experience and are a credit to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer service.”

“I went to Minoa yesterday for my friend's bridal shower in the private dining room, and overall we had a really lovely experience. The food was amazing, and Avi and Mohit were both brilliant. Avi went above and beyond to look after us. She was so sweet, really attentive, and even helped us pack up the leftover food at the end. Mohit was just as friendly and attentive too. The only thing that let the experience down was the shorter gentleman, who I believe was the manager. Considering we had the room booked from 6pm until 10pm, we felt like we were being rushed from around 6:30pm, with him constantly coming in asking us to order. It also wasn't explained that all the staters would come out at once. That wasn't a problem, but if we'd known, we would have asked for them to be brought out earlier. Also, the private dining room didn't feel very private as people could still see straight in. Even slightly tinted glass would make a big difference. Overall, the food was fantastic, and the service from Avi and Mohit really made the experience. They're both a credit to the restaurant. My only criticism is the feeling of being rushed and communication.”

“Dragon roll was amazing (we will order again next time) dynamite prawn outer was a bit soggy and the other sushi was also ok ok. We also ordered Bao which quality was on point and will order again next time. Service was top and warmly welcomed which will also make us come again. Drinks are superb too. Aesthetically all dishes, ambience and lightings are 10 out of 10.”

“The food was great and there was plenty of variety. I especially enjoyed the chicken fried rice which I only ordered for my daughter initially. I didn't particularly enjoy the drinks as I didn't have a cocktail that made an impression but they did have a few options. The staff were very kind and helpful and the environment was great. Certainly enjoyed our time there and would go again. Will definitely recommend.”
