Quick info
About Yaaran Da Dera
Yaaran Da Dera is a Pakistani restaurant on Green Lane in Dagenham, reopened under new ownership after a refurbishment of the former Palwan De Dera site. The kitchen covers a wide Punjabi spread, from biryani and slow-cooked nihari through lamb chops, haleem, Lahori chana and paye, with naan and roti fresh from the tandoor. Curries form the main backbone of the menu, and orders can be phoned in ahead or placed on arrival for both dine-in and takeaway. The room takes walk-ins, and the counter staff handle collections as well as table service.

“Really happy to see the old Palwan De Dera reopen under the new name Yaaran De Dera. The restaurant has had a full upgrade and looks modern, clean, and much more spacious while still keeping the same welcoming atmosphere. Most importantly, the food is still just as good as before. I ordered my usual biryani and curries and everything was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked really well. Portions were generous and the quality was consistent. Great option for both dine-in and takeaway. You can phone through your order in advance or order when you arrive. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed the old place or are looking for good desi food in the area.”

“I was impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, and every course was thoughtfully prepared. The staff made us feel comfortable and valued throughout the visit.”
