Customer Review Summary
Food is the main draw at this family-run cafe, with the Garden Special fry up described by one reviewer as perfect in every part and another simply calling it a lovely breakfast. A couple who stopped in for coffee and burgers say they loved both, and reviewers also mention a wide range of options for vegetarians and meat lovers. Several call the prices reasonable, and one says orders arrive quickly even when the cafe is busy, with seating inside and outside. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, and one reviewer calls the service exceptional. The dissent comes from a diner who visited twice and found the food dry, strange-tasting and hastily assembled, while acknowledging they are in the minority. Even that reviewer called the staff friendly, a point echoed by a regular who stops in every time she takes her daughter to college.

“Our two visits to this restaurant have been disappointing. While we’re clearly in the minority, the food fell short of our expectations. It was dry, strange-tasting and hastily assembled. The staff were friendly and the location convenient but those are the only positives. It’s quite saddening but I can’t imagine myself returning.”
