Customer Review Summary

Friendly staff come up most often, described as lovely and welcoming by diners who say they return, one for over ten years. Food praise is specific: a halfpounder burger with a big portion of chips, a freshly made ham and cheese panini with salad, lamb chops, a jacket potato and a set six. Reviewers also mention large portions, a clean interior and one calls the coffee excellent. One diner found that onions at the bottom of the burger made the bun soggy. Two reviewers report poor experiences. One describes avocado on toast that was barely toasted, with old-tasting avocado and a rubbery egg, plus a Mediterranean breakfast with dry sucuk and halloumi that tasted like cardboard. The other describes a wrong order that arrived cold after a long delivery wait, a refused refund and staff who blamed the customer. Regulars include local businesses ordering takeaway lunches and bus drivers who stop in for coffee.

“If I could give this 0 stars, I would. If you enjoy good food, avoid this place. I ordered the avocado on toast and the Mediterranean breakfast, and both were genuinely awful. The “toast” was barely toasted, the avocado tasted old and unpleasant, and the egg had the rubbery texture of something microwaved rather than freshly cooked. The Mediterranean breakfast was no better. The sucuk was dry and stale, the tomatoes were swimming in oil, the halloumi had the texture and flavour of cardboard, and the salad was covered in a watery dressing that looked and tasted like dishwater. One of the worst breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be returning.”

We are going back again. Thank you very much for you kindness and fantast food. And making us welcome. See you soon.”

“First time visiting Eran's café, it's clean and presentable, offering a varied reasonably priced menu, with friendly staff, referring only to the one meal I had, a set six, I thoroughly enjoyed it, I therefore wouldn't hesitate in repeating the experience and recommending to friends. 👍”
  • Mehmet Ali
“Truly amazing, portions are large and very delicious, I definitely recommend it.”
