“Good breakfast however the cafe could do with a deep clean where customers sit to many plants on window sills”

“I've lived in Layton my whole life (until moving to the US) and yet despite walking past this cafe often on the way to visit family, I only yesterday finally went inside. First off, my wife and I visited with our little dog and they were so welcoming of her. Said nice things about her and came over and gave her a little stroke. That's always a 5 star start with me! We had the regular breakfast and the Big Monty breakfast. Not only was everything cooked to perfection, but the portions on the Big Monty are exactly what an ideal breakfast should be. 10/10! Bottles of HP on the table too. No sachets in sight. 👌 I made sure to ask for hash browns as you can't have a breakfast without them and if course, it's their namesake, so I absolutely had to. They were some of the chunkiest hash browns I've ever seen and very delicious! Honestly, the only thing that'd have made the breakfast perfect for me would have been a slice of black pudding or two. No idea if that's available, but I know it's not everybody's cup of tea to be fair. While we were eating we even heard the staff talking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and then and there we knew that these were our kinds of people, haha! Excellent value for money too. If you're looking for somewhere that doesn't break the bank, has awesome, friendly and nerdy staff, perfectly cooked food, great portions and loves doggies, there's not many places better than Hash Browns! If not for watching the wallet (and not wanting to explode 😂) I'd be in every day for that breakfast! - Ben, Amy & Roux”

“The best cafe in Blackpool by a mile. The staff are incredible, going that extra mile for you with a friendly, professional service, that alone makes you want to come back again and again. The food is also impeccable, such a variety of food to choose from, full English breakfast, sandwiches, burgers and even on those hot summer days, a refereshing salad. Can’t fault this cafe at all, my only complaint would be that it’s not open earlier and closes far too early for how amazing it is.”
