  “This is one of our best takeaways and usually everything is great, food and service! Unfortunately not this time, we ordered fish and chips and the fish was either overdone or old (had an odd smell) delivery was great and on time, not too fast or slow. Just a shame about this time.. we will order again hoping for it to be back to what it was before”

  “Had a great experience with the staff and food tonight at JB’s. Food was hot, really tasty and great portion sizes. Ordered through just eat last week and the restaurant was closed, but just eat allowed the order to go through. I emailed JB’s and they were so helpful and kind and said they would make my order for me when they reopened. They kept their word and the food was lovely.”

  “Ordered fish & chips with mushy peas, took 25 minutes although there was no one ahead of me. The fish is NOT COD.. also extremely thin cut about 2mm. Chips ok but not hot and mushy peas not traditional, tasted tinned not soaked. Overall disappointing.”

  “Oh wow! I was craving fish and chips and the meal was great! Fresh, crunchy, well seasoned fries, good portion of fish. As I am local, will be coming back 100% Thank you. About £11 per person for a massive portion I've seen there is a choice of smash burgers too- will give it a try next time.”

  “Worst chips I've ever tasted. Definitely re-fried, more than once by the taste of them. I used to go to this chippy a few years ago and really fancied pie & chips tonight. I was told they didn't do pies so I ordered a cheeseburger. It was cold and the burger was so revolting, after 2 bites, I couldn't eat it. It seemed shambolic in there, priority was given to online orders with the poor girl serving, being told "don't take anymore orders until this has all gone" pointing to the counter. He took a phone call from someone chasing an order and repeated the question for all to hear "I ordered half an hour ago, where's my order?" and after he put the phone down he replied "bloody ages". Well true as I waited b****y ages for my order and received food that was inedible 🤢🤮Most expensive chippy I've ever been too so for just a cheeseburger and regular chips...£10.95 down the drain. Even worse I called them burger and fries and he replied "proper chips".... atleast McDonald's don't reheat their fries 🤦‍♀️ I was asked if I wanted "a bit of salad"... for the price I thought I'd atleast get a slice of 🍅! Just this 👇 look at these for so called "proper chips" 😠”
