About Conto Lounge
Conto Lounge is a Bournemouth restaurant at 418 Wimborne Rd, serving an all-day menu that covers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vegan and gluten-free options sit within that menu. Board games and toys for children are kept on hand, and there are treats for dogs, so a table can include kids and pets. Breakfast includes eggs Benedict and a Breakfast Quesadilla, while the burgers, among them a chicken burger with avocado, come with fries. A bar supplies cocktails, beer and coffee drinks such as cappuccino and caramel latte, so the room works for drinks as well as meals. Wait staff bring food and drinks to the table.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with the Breakfast Quesadilla called incredible and the Lounge breakfast with a cappuccino liked despite burnt toast. Close behind, diners single out the whipped feta with pitta bread, the mini pulled brisket chilli and the grapefruit margarita, and the beer gets a nod from those who come for drinks. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and fast, and the atmosphere as lovely, with a Monday quiz night and a dog friendly welcome also mentioned. The food draws sharper criticism from a few. One reviewer found the chicken burger skimpy, with three slices of rock hard avocado, and called the food vastly overpriced. Another described unseasoned eggs Benedict with raw whites, a burned tuna melt, and a see-through mango tiki shake that did not taste of the puree the menu promised. One reviewer notes delays getting food when it is busy, and another found it loud. Even in the harshest account, the staff were pleasant and refunded the eggs.

“James and the team went the extra mile for a table of two which is a very rare thing in today’s day and age. A very warm welcome nothing was too much hassle and smile with every exchange. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinning experience it was only breakfast but I walked out full happy and smiling myself . Quite simply it’s a must the food is clean delicious and fairly priced , as for the service what can say ( off the chain ) How you have made breakfast a dining experience is credit to yourselves thank you”

“Note: The staff was very pleasant and refunded the eggs, I can't complain about the service itself. I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon and a mango tiki shake, the eggs had no seasoning and egg whites were raw, ,coctail was disgusting I had to get a glass of juice to make it bereable, the menu online says there should be mango puree in it but it did not taste like that and drink was see through, also many flies in the bar and one sadly passed away on my glass. My brother ordered a caramel latte, tuna melt and a croissant, the latte was good enough, croissant tasted like the ones from Aldi, the cheapest ones from multipack and tuna melt had no spices in it so just fish and cheese in toasted bread. The tuna melt was and tasted burned and it was hard to eat, also the plate was oily on the bottom for some reason. During our meal we saw a waitress hold cleaning bottle and a cloth with drinks on the same tray at the same time? Overall what was supposed to be a treat was a dissapotent and loss of money :(”

“A KFC mini filet has more chicken than the Chicken Burger here. The avocado that comes in the burger is just 3 small slices of rock hard avocado, not mashed or even seasoned. Seems to rely on the having the biggest broche bap possible, in order to hide the lack of contents within. Plus a large egg cup of fries. Wait staff were fast and polite and the atmosphere is nice (despite a leak in the ceiling, not the staffs fault at all). Go here for drinks, but the food is poor and vastly overpriced.”
