“A bit on the pricey side but absolutely amazing food. The steaks were all superb, beautifully cooked, super tender,I would recommend taking a side order or two which were equally amazing, the cauli cheese was amazing. Chateau Briand night on a Thursday is fantastic”

“Having now visited both Ounce restaurants, I can honestly say Ounce at The Dolphin is by far my preferred spot. The Worcester restaurant serves great food too, but personally I always find it a little too crowded and cramped, whereas The Dolphin has a much more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that makes the whole experience far more enjoyable. I had the Beef Butcher’s Board and it was absolutely outstanding beautifully cooked, full of flavour, generous portions, and clearly quality meat. One of those meals where every bite reminds you why you chose it in the first place. Service was excellent, atmosphere was spot on, and overall it just felt like a place you can properly settle into and enjoy your evening rather than feeling squeezed into the next table. Will definitely be returning… probably far too often for the sake of my waistline.”

“We usually go to it once or twice month at least . Service is always great . But food lately go downhill. Not sure if new chef or what but order stake midi come rare . Souses good but not garlic one. And way to nose for food ,if you look for. I’ve atmospheres for family ,partner ,date or any kind of meeting not that great .”

“So so good! My family and I went here this evening, we had booked but were half an hour late being seated due to some extremely rude local old codgers. So so rude, even when asked by the lovely bar staff they would not move - despite the fact they hadn’t booked a table and were not eating. The staff however, were all lovely, polite and efficient. The food was beautiful- probably the best steak we have had. A very nice experience overall - we would definitely return. I just feel sorry that the staff have to deal with such ignorant locals. Someone even complained that her burger was fish - despite it clearly being called “ The Codfather” ! I despair.”

“We have eaten here at Ounce several times. Consistently excellent and certainly sets a high standard to follow. Tonight Chateaubriand perfectly served. Booked for an early sitting as it understandably gets busy. Very well done to everyone. No photos - too busy enjoying our meal.”
