Customer Review Summary

Peri-peri chicken is the recurring draw, with reviewers repeatedly praising wings, wraps, and sharing platters alongside sides like peri chips, peri rice, and coleslaw, plus desserts such as the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and pasteis de nata. Several also single out friendly, attentive staff and quick QR-code or counter ordering, and one diner points to the free frozen yoghurt as a big draw for children when it's available. Complaints recur around inconsistency: chips described as soggy or losing their crisp, wraps with too little chicken or overly dry breast meat, a delivery order missing wings' sauces, and one visit where drinks were slammed down without acknowledgement despite a dirty table. More seriously, one reviewer reports being served raw chicken and describes the kitchen manager's response as dismissive rather than reassuring, while another notes an unlocked COSHH cupboard during their visit. Waits for tables also come up, with one reviewer advising booking ahead after being told to wait an hour for a larger group, though most describe being seated within minutes once queued.

“Greeted at the door by a woman in a red skirt - lovely and excellent customer service. Ordered online and got our two water glasses slammed on the table by a different girl who didn't give us any eye contact or acknowledgement and walked off in a hurry. I get it's hospitality but coming from working in it myself you are literally hired for customer service. Anyway my chips and wrap were cold/barely any salt came back to complain (nicely) and one of the people in the kitchen ignored me, followed by the woman who slammed the drinks saw me then turned away and the lady in the red skirt was the one to acknowledge me - again excellent customer service. I paid £40 for a dirty table that had chicken left on it, and whilst staff were scanning around the floor the only one cleaning tables was the lady in the red skirt!!! She deserves her praise”

“Attended here today with my two sons. We were very warmly welcomed by the lovely staff member called Romy. She was so polite and helpful throughout the whole visit. There was also a young man called Fin (I believe) he was also very accommodating and helpful. The premises were clean and tidy and food was served in a timely manner and very tasty! Highly recommend!”
