  “Went last night and i get its a saturday and its going to be busy. But if you cant handle that amount of guests cut it back! It was absolute chaos,no order , the food wasnt very good very bland . The cliental was awful. Full of greedy ,rude people. Birthday song that travels across the whole restaurant. They cant do it quietly? Dont go here for a relaxing meal . Left as quickly as possible and definatly wont be returning. Feel sorry for the servers as they have to put up with alot from these rude horrible guests. Unfortunatly it doesnt change our experience”

  “This place has become an absolute dive. The food here is disgusting. Everything is stale, nothings hot and the chicken wings PINK. Came here with friends & children, children would not touch the food, didn’t even like the ice cream which says it all for kids! Got charged £60 for 2 adults and 1 child and 3 drinks which is just appalling. Staff are also so so rude!! I wouldn’t eat here again if someone paid me it needs shutting down absolutely rank!!!!”

  “This place was terrible. The food was lacking in flavour. Sweet and sour sauce on the pork, chicken and as an extra sauce just tasted of nothing. Some of the pork - or chicken, impossible to tell - was slimy. Did not eat that. The pancake rolls were full but the duck was only enough left for 1 pancake. At 7pm. The brown prawn crackers were nice, the white ones were stale. Never tried the starters, there were hardly any on display. My wife requested some Bombay potatoes and chick peas, as there were none out. Fair play, waitress said she could get some made. Sadly the sauce was identical on both - some sort of tikka sauce. Chick peas were flavourless. Potatoes just boiled and cut in half, not Bombay potatoes at all. Deserts were plentiful but low quality. I liked the jelly and ice-cream, but the mini cakes were cheap things from a wholesalers. Drinks were ok. Worst thing was on a Sunday, they charge £20 per adult and £10 for a child under 150cm. Never been to a restaurant that wanted to measure the height of my daughter before today... Toilets were disgusting. 3 urinals, 2 working sinks and 1 broken. Sit down toilet was so disgusting, I went back to the hotel to use the toilet. Plus side. Lots of parking space. Plenty of staff and they are fairly helpful. Downside. It's supposed to be a buffet restaurant and you would think the food would be a higher priority... Worst buffet experience in 30 years visiting them around the UK. Sad really.”

  “We have been visiting Oxy Oriental for many years, both for dining in and takeaway. The staff and the owner are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. In recent months, due to our son's illness, we have often stopped by on our way home from the hospital. Their kindness and consistency have meant a lot to us during a difficult time. We have never left disappointed. The food is always fresh, tasty and there is a great variety to choose from. Occasionally a particular dish may have run out, but that is understandable in a busy buffet restaurant. If you are looking for a quiet and intimate dining experience, this may not be the place for you, as it is often busy and lively. We highly recommend Oxy Oriental to anyone looking for good food, excellent value and genuinely caring service. Thank you for always making us feel welcome.”

  “We got recommended this place by some family members and I'm so glad we went. For a oriental buffet it is exactly what you would want and didn't disappoint. I loved the variety of dishes and the desert selection was fab. I ate my body weight in banana fritters and ice cream I think! I'll definitely be going back.”

  “Had such a lovely visit to Oxy today with my two boys. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming it really makes all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The shrimps were especially delicious perfectly cooked and so tasty! Everything came out perfectly and we all really enjoyed our meals. It was a buffet, and the service was excellent waiters were very attentive and quickly cleared away finished plates so we could go back and enjoy more without any hassle. My boys absolutely loved the desserts, especially the ice cream with sweets it was a big hit and made the experience even more special for them! We genuinely love coming here, it always feels like such a nice experience for the whole family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a warm, friendly atmosphere!”

  “​I have been a loyal customer here for many years. It used to be so good that I forced myself to come even when I was younger and struggled with social anxiety. My whole family loved the variety, but unfortunately, we have stopped making this our go-to spot because the atmosphere has become toxic. ​The recent changes in staff have ruined the experience. There is a specific staff member of South Asian descent who treats customers like criminals if they aren't of an Asian majority or don't look "rich" enough. We felt completely profiled. She purposely seats us near the desk just to watch us and stares into your soul the entire time you eat. It’s incredibly uncomfortable to see her gossiping about customers to other staff while constantly glancing over. ​The behavior is over the top. She makes it obvious she thinks you’ll walk out without paying, even going as far as aggressively grabbing the bill and counting plates right in front of you to be performative. Even if you just get a takeaway, she goes out of her way to stand in the food area and track your movements. ​To top it off, the food is sliding. The meat has become very chewy and the desserts often taste stale. This place needs to hire for diversity and train their staff to care more about hospitality than treats regulars like suspects.”

  “We have been there just now, few minutes ago. I have decided to leave review, because it was incredible experience. Food is delicious, a specially prawns 🍤 and mussels. Compliment to the chef 🧑‍🍳. Also young lady at desserts section was really lovely and nice. I think her name is Pra. She suggested ice cream and we had chat for a while about how amazing this place. Also she said next time we have to try fresh-made food from chef . Definitely we will come back!”

  “Spent £22 on food that immediately transformed into a liquid-based science experiment in their toilet. To really savour the experience, I then threw it all up in the car park. Full-circle dining. Would not recommend. Will be escalating this to food hygiene standards”

  “I struggled with this review because we need to review for what it is, not what it could be, but what it should be. It’s a Chinese buffet. That has its own problems of keeping the food hot. Yet, even accepting that it is hard, the food was generally like warm at best, which is not acceptable. The Teppenyaki bar was very good. Fresh and hot. Otherwise the buffet dishes: - Hot and sour soup was not sour and tasted odd. - Fish in black bean was very gelatinous. - Ribs were all bone and no meat. - Duck for pancakes did not look like duck. The atmosphere feels very canteen like. I’d not go back.”
