  “First time and fabulous. From walking in and great greeting from young lady and barman, to the thanks and smiles when we left. Great choice of food, clear coverage on any allergy (we had seafood allergy), and offers + specials. All four dishes served were thoroughly enjoyed and great quality, joined with some Presesso and beers. All staff brilliant..nothing any trouble, great professionals, smiles and helpful. A real credit and folk many can learn from. THANK YOU. Good atmosphere, and whilst music did get a bit loud around 730-8 (after a Bday sing along) it wasn't too intrusive. Already planning when we can go again !!”

  “We visited on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a family members 70th birthday. We had excellent service throughout, the staff were very professional & looked after us very well. The food was delicious, I had a favourite of mine in any restaurant, chicken & chorizo fajitas, they were delicious. We had young children with us & they suggested bringing the food to them whilst we were eating our starters. All in all I'd highly recommend & I'm bound to visit again.”

  “We came here yesterday evening for a meal as staying locally for 2 nights. Food was delicious and the staff were all really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be back when we come back again. Thank you for a lovely meal 😍”

  “I had my hen party evening meal here. It was amazing! The staff were wonderful and friendly. Service was excellent and the food was superb (many thanks to the chef for the off menu poached egg)! I had a wonderful night and the prices are very reasonable. I had the black pudding stack and traditional carbonara - so good! Thank you for making my night so special! X”

  “Went to Fat Italian in Ormskirk on New Years Eve the service and food was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for you very friendly and attentive even though it was extremely busy. Will definitely be going back loved it”

  “Amazing food, great service and a fabulous evening. Sammy took us to the table and was so pleasant and welcoming. Gary served us the food and was funny and friendly and James checked in on us and made sure we were looked after. The staff really made a lovely meal just better and are a credit to their profession. First time visiting but definitely not the last.”

  “The food was of an excellent quality. Well presented and tasted great. We came here after previously having eaten at the Crosby restaurant a few months ago which was also very good. We had the £34 deal for 3 courses which I found was reasonable value considering the high quality of the food. The 2 managers/front of house were friendly and approachable, as were the servers. My constructive critique would be that I felt some of the drinks were overpriced, particularly circa £7 for a pint of beer and £6 for cider. This combined with being asked whether we wanted more drinks by the servers over 10 times in an hour gave us the impression that revenue from drinks was quite important for the restaurant. There was also a pricing error on the bill when we received in which the total showed as being approximately £11 more than it should've been, however to the managers' credit he did quickly resolve this. Overall we enjoyed our visit, and particularly the food, albeit being asked 10+ times if we wanted more drinks! Can't fault the friendly staff though.”

  “Our fourth visit to this gorgeous restaurant and once again it didn’t disappoint. Had the happy hour menu which is amazing value available every day until 6 pm with pasta and pizza dishes for around £10 so be sure to check this out. I love the relaxed, friendly atmosphere here, the staff are just so welcoming and chatty and give advice on the food which is very welcome when there is so much choice. The Decor is pretty and everywhere is spotlessly clean.The food is just amazing and, even better, they have a fabulous dessert menu. There is also a car park at the rear of the restaurant. The only negative is that we were told we only had 1 hour 15 minutes at the table so we were just conscious of the time when waiting for the meal to arrive but it’s because it is such a busy restaurant. My favourite go to restaurant at the moment locally and I will definitely be visiting again.”
