  “Absolute waste of time and terrible service. I went there specifically for a milk cake. I paid for my order, only for the staff member to tell me a few minutes later that they were out of milk cake. Since I was already there, I asked if I could get a waffle instead. They said yes, but that I’d have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. I agreed and paid again. After waiting 15 minutes, I checked on my order with a different staff member, only to be casually told they couldn’t make the waffle either because they ran out of strawberries. Why take my money twice without checking if you actually have the ingredients to make the food? The staff were completely unprofessional and clearly care more about taking your money than providing basic customer service.”

  “Went recently with family after the new renovation to find the food standard had dropped. Karak Chai was not authentic. Young staff working who probably didn’t have experience. However upon request, staff did take action. Been going here for a while. Standards must NOT drop.”

  “The overall experience was good but the cutlery given was dirty and had some dark crumbs left on the fork. I ended up having to wipe it with a tissue and use it but that put me off a bit. The waffle itself was really nice but the outer corners were hard. Otherwise the presention and taste of the waffle with icecream was quite nice.”

  “Absolutely atrocious customer service. Visited recently and ordered a slushie, and was told it would take 5 minutes. We ended up waiting for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, a group of girls who ordered after us received their food, ate, and finished before we even got our slushie. ​When I finally confronted the guy at the counter, he just casually said, "We’ll give your slushie now".. no apology, no acknowledgment of the massive delay. I wasn’t looking for a freebie, just basic manners. Looking at the appalling behavior, I decided to ask for my money back. Instead of de-escalating, his colleague just dismissively said, "Just give his 4 quid." ​I walked out feeling completely degraded by their utter contempt. There was zero genuine reasoning or accountability. They clearly know they have a steady flow of customers, so they think they can get away with treating people like garbage. They seem to forget that they are in the service industry and need to remain humble. Remember, what goes around comes around. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.”

  “Placed an order today using uber eats. I always received high quality cheesecake from this shop. Today it was just a mess and nothing at all like before, just a mountain of butter with lots of syrup. So disappointed and would not buy again from sweet obsession. Wonder if there has been management change? Waste of money today! Not tasty at all.”

  “Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Doughnuts I’m genuinely disappointed with the doughnuts I received. They were advertised as Biscoff and Ferrero Rocher, but neither resembled those flavours in the slightest. The Biscoff doughnut had no Lotus biscuit, no crumbs, nothing that even hinted at the flavour. The Ferrero Rocher doughnut was just as bad—no hazelnuts, no chocolate filling, no signature topping. Just plain doughnuts with a drizzle of chocolate and powdered sugar. This felt like a lazy attempt to pass off generic doughnuts under popular names. My kids were excited, and ended up really upset. When you promise indulgent flavours, you need to deliver—not just slap on a label and hope no one notices. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. Please take this seriously and improve the quality and honesty of your products.”

  “Really nice dessert shop. Very aesthetically appealing, very girly. Group of 3. 1 adult 2 kids (boys) kid and adult friendly menu. 4 star for food as my son (12) said he had better waffle but we still all enjoyed the cake waffle and bubblegum gelato. Really nice place for date night or even meeting friends. Very chill atmosphere”

  “Been here a few times with family. They have a variety of desserts from old school cakes to waffles. Ice cream too! The staff are very welcoming and respectful. The desserts are amazing and I would definitely recommend you pay them a visit.”
