  “UPDATE: Owner responded to email the team but unfortunately no one bothered to reply back. It is marketing strategy to prove others that they care which is not. This matter should be taken to food standard Agency. I am not the first one to complain about the raw food being served. Order Number: 2843342 I use to get only loaded fries but yesterday for the first time I tried whole grilled chicken which was raw and smelly. Very disappointing. The picture shown at the menu is no where similar to whole grilled chicken served which was raw and smelled from inside. I threw whole grilled chicken without eating. Pepe’s piri is losing its customer and bad food quality. The standard which was expected from Pepe’s is losing. Customer are being charged for raw food.”

  “This is very dry I could not finish it. I asked for extra sauce. If you look in the picture, no sauce and the pitta bread was very chewy.”

  “Ordered extreme and they gave us mild. When we informed them that there might be something not right, they simply said sorry and added extreme sauce over the wrong order, they didn't even offer to change the food though it was there fault. The city centre one is much better than them, even the taste differs much.Not recommending at all.”

  “I ordered today after receiving my ordered i give 5 star straight away as i was thinking the quality of food and services will be same as it should be on pepe's, but unfortunately when i open my food within 31° could you imagine food was so cold, even drink should be cold in this hot weather but it was less than normal. I also mentioned add notes send utensil please with napkns but nothing was added. I paid full but receive nothing. Disappointed.!!”

  “I had a great experience, the food was fresh and hot with the spice level being just right. The portions were generous for the price and the staff were friendly and served quickly, even though it was busy. It was clean and had a good atmosphere- i would happily go back.”

  “I had a wonderful experience at Pepe. The food was absolutely delicious full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. The service was just as impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s always a pleasure to dine somewhere that combines great food with such warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend Pepe to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and a welcoming atmosphere.”

  “The rice box was absolutely amazing the brother at the counter i believe his name was ISA was a legend amazing customer service even though they were busy drove from derby because the Derby peppes is horrible and I was not disappointed”

  “I’m extremely disappointed with Pepe’s Beechdale. This is now the second time my order has been below standard. The first time the rice was dry and barely edible. This time the sauce portion was shockingly small. I paid for my order, I was not asking for anything free, so this is simply not acceptable. I regularly order from Pepe’s in Doncaster and they are outstanding every single time. The food quality, taste and customer service there are exactly what Pepe’s should represent. Unfortunately, this Beechdale branch is nowhere near that standard. The taste is not what Pepe’s is known for and there always seems to be an issue with the food. To the owner, I ordered through Deliveroo but the problem is with your food preparation, not the delivery service. This branch seriously needs to improve because right now it is letting the Pepe’s name down.”

  “I’m really disappointed with my recent experience here. My order arrived undercooked and completely unsafe to eat. When I reached out to let them know, the response I received was, “How are we able to know if it is raw?” — which I found extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Mistakes can happen, but good customer service is about how a business handles them. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, I was met with attitude and no attempt to make things right. I won’t be ordering again and hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously to improve both food safety and customer care.”
