  “I used to get Buns Burger milkshakes when I lived in Lenton as a student. Graduated 2 years ago and moved away. Drove back into town today specifically to get a milkshake from here and it was just as good as I remembered ☺️ The staff were very friendly and chatty, great service, 10/10 milkshake!”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Late Review but Still Fresh in My Mind – Brilliant Late-Night Spot! I visited Buns Burgers a while ago and I’ve been meaning to leave this review ever since. I don’t usually have any reason to be in Nottingham (I live well over 100 miles away and the drive home takes more than 2 hours), but I was in the city for an event one evening and needed a quick, satisfying late-night bite before hitting the road. The bright pink aesthetics and flashy colours immediately caught my eye as I was driving past it just looks fun and inviting! I popped in and I’m so glad I did. This place is a proper gem for good, honest food that won’t break the bank. I ordered the loaded Philly steak and cheesy fries, and both were excellent. The Philly was packed with flavour, juicy, cheesy, and really hit the spot after a long day. The cheesy fries were gooey, generous, and addictive exactly what you want when you’re fuelling up for a long drive home. The staff were genuinely nice and friendly, even at that late hour, which made the whole experience feel welcoming. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for the portion sizes you get. It genuinely left a strong positive impression on me. Nottingham’s food scene might not be the first thing that comes to mind for most people, but if places like Buns Burgers are around, it’s clearly doing something right! Address: 119 Ilkeston Rd, Nottingham NG7 3HE Parking is somewhat okay as it’s on a street you’ll probably need to pay during the day, but since I went late at night it was much easier. A big plus is that they stay open past midnight, which was perfect for my situation. All in all, if you’re in the area and fancy a tasty burger, Philly cheesesteak or loaded sides at a fair price with friendly service, definitely check out Buns Burgers. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I’m ever in Nottingham again. Solid 5 stars – thank you for the great late-night feed! 🍔🌟”

  “Was recommended the Buns Steak and Wow it did not disappoint! So juicy and delicious made to perfection! Highly recommend it. Also tried the loaded dirty chessy fries and they were are a 10/10. Great customer service”

  “I had such a great experience here thanks to one of the employees who served me. Omar. His service was genuinely outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell he really cares about making customers feel comfortable and looked after. It’s rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond the way he did. His positive attitude and professionalism made the whole experience so much better. Honestly, he’s an absolute asset to the place and deserves huge recognition for the amazing service he provides!!”

  “Great food and great service every time. The Japanese cheese burger is unreal – packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The steaks are really good as well, proper quality and done just right. Staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Definitely recommend if you’re after top food and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!”

  “Waited 2 hours for my order for the food to come cold. Called them and they straight up lied about delivery times. Chips were stale, some chicken wings were warm, others were cold. Burger was just not right 🤢 bellys going already. Never ordering again!!!”

  “Absolute best experience I’ve ever had at any food establishment since migrating to Great Britain they made me feel like home translated for me and helped to pick th best items the burgers here were better than in n out in America and that was my regular heh anyway I guess this is my new place murad ali is exceptional boss and knows how to control the shop his little brother was a little mischievous however it was overall a very good experience”

  “I visited Buns last Wednesday evening with a group of four. It wasn’t very busy inside, but it seemed like they were handling a lot of delivery orders 🛵 based on what I could hear. We decided to sit inside and enjoy our food 🍔. The decor and interior stood out to me—it’s really nice! I loved the pink theme 💖; it gave me Archie’s vibes (if you’ve been to Manchester, you’ll know what I mean). It’s a great place visually, which adds to the experience. However, I’ve rated them a 3/5 instead of a 5, and that’s mainly due to the customer service. The lady on the till didn’t seem too enthusiastic 😕 and was quite slow in taking our order. I’m not sure if she was new or just having an off day, but it did affect the overall impression. Some better training might help here, though it was my first visit, so I can’t say if this is typical or not. That being said, the food itself was great! I ordered the Donner Burger, and it was a good size 🍔. Honestly, I didn’t think I could have finished it if I’d gotten chips 🍟 on the side too. So, the portion was definitely satisfying. Things I would improve: The seating is quite limited, so it feels more like a takeaway-style place 🛍️ rather than a dine-in spot, especially if you’re in a bigger group. That said, there’s no major complaints apart from that and the customer service. I’d happily return for the food but maybe opt for takeaway next time or pre-order as it was a bit of a wait!”

  “The food was really really good. I was pleasantly surprised since it was a small shop round the corner. I ordered the spicy burger and it was genuinely spicy (finally!). Great options and not pricey. It did take a while to get our food but they were quite busy so I can't complain too much. Will definitely come again.”
