  “The food is outstanding! The service is attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is great. There were large groups, couples and families dining. There were also quite a few people celebrating various things. Parking is easy as the car park is large. Disabled friendly parking and access, plus plenty of room around the tables to move. The restaurant was clean, spacious and simply decorated. Very tasteful. The amount we spent included drinks. I would highly recommend a visit!”

  “4th time we've had a meal here took a party of 7 and we had the all you can eat selection at about £28 per person. We had 10 lot's of starters and 8 main courses, we had to stop at that as we couldn't eat anymore. The bill at the end of the night was around £230 ,including the drinks. Food was fantastic, very short waiting times after ordering. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Everywhere was very clean. Brilliant night.”

  “We had a wonderfully welcoming experience dining here as a group of eight, celebrating Chinese New Year. The staff clearly put thought and effort into making the occasion feel special, and none of the details went unnoticed. The staff were incredibly patient, attentive, and accommodating throughout the evening. The food arrived hot, quickly, and in generous portions - and everything was absolutely delicious. We were also regularly checked in on, which made us feel well looked after without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service and excellent food. We felt genuinely welcomed and would happily return again. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.”

  “First time eating here to celebrate my father's birthday. We had the buffet which was FANTASTIC! Order as much as you want and it's all freshly made. Staff were on the ball and very friendly. Drinks are pricey, but that's to expected. Free birthday dessert which I didn't expect, music and all 😂 Overall, it's an easy 10/10”

  “Visited Spring water for the first time in 20 years on Wednesday. It was surprisingly busy however the service was outstanding and food just as good as I remember. Everything was exceptional except for the atmosphere from the next table, the poor lady sitting through her dinner partner complaining and arguing about every single thing was almost unbearable, almost ruined a great evening. I don't want to be too harsh for 1 bad egg so only dropped to 4/5 for atmosphere because the rest of the room was buzzing with happy dinners. Will be back and it sure won't be taking me 20 years!”

  “Springwater Chinese restaurant offered exceptional food cooked freshly and with great flavoured. We ate the eat as much as you want and this served people on our table of 5. Service was fantastic and staff was polite. In fact we told server that it was a birthday and they offered a complementary birthday treat. Staff really made us feel welcome. Staff made sure I was catered for with my allergy. I felt reassured and reasonably safe. Atmosphere was fantastic, it was busy with other table families and parties it was a testament to this place.”

  “I used to go here in the 00s for birthday parties / special events as I went to school in Calverton so it was the 'go to' event place. I'm not sure if the decor has changed since then but it's well maintained and very clean - as are the toilets. As others have stated, it's an all you can eat but a different type to the standard buffet affair. Dishes are prepared fresh to order, food not being wasted is encouraged and portions are made according to the size of the group to ensure that everyone gets a bit of each order. Duck is £3 extra. The service is excellent, staff really attentive and full of smiles. The quality of the food was very good - excellent, the portions were just right. The noodles were really nice, as were the spring rolls, ribs, chicken skewers & sizzling beef in black pepper sauce. The drinks were quite expensive and price list not on the table so it can become an expensive night out if you're on a budget - but it's well worth giving a try or for a special occasion that's not a pub but not too formal, either. It's not somewhere that you'd go to weekly - although I'm sure that some people could do and perhaps do, but I would definitely recommend trying it. Even if one was to try the reasonably priced takeaway options to get a flavour (literally) of what Springwater has to offer then try it for sure!”

  “Had a really good meal at this Cantonese Restaurant. Everything was piping hot and very tasty. We enjoyed all of the dishes we tried, including sweet and sour fish and duck in plum sauce 😋. The staff were lovely and service was excellent. We will be returning.”

  “This place serves lovely food, the service is extremely fast with somebody always on hand, although I went on a Sunday afternoon when it's quieter than a Friday or Saturday. All the food is cooked fresh and there is an enormous variety with 108 dishes. You can pick 4 different dishes at a time when ordering, which takes around 5 minutes to arrive at your table. It is £28 per person any time and day of the week, £6 for a pint and £4 for a coke, I had heard great things about this place and it didn't disappoint.”
