  “We ordered chicken balls and the chicken was to chowy and greesy and a beef chowmain and the beef was really chowy the egg fried rice was spot on and delicious and the chowmain say nice except the beef in the chow main we used to like the food there but its gone down hill the last 2 times we been there”

  “AVOID! DISHONEST PEOPLE. They sneakily gave us £10 short on change, at collection. When my partner went back to get the rest of the change (within a minute), they stayed in the kitchen and refused to come out despite her asking multiple times for them to come out to speak to her. The counter lady was even looking at my partner through the kitchen window and refusing to come out. They ended up giving the change back without even apologising and left to hide back in the kitchen right away. GUILTY. We will not be going back.”

  “DISHONEST PEOPLE Refused to come out of the kitchen to give us the remaining change that was short. Despite us asking them to come out multiple times and the owner was LOOKING AT US THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW and still hiding. Not even an apology Guilty written all over. Never going back”

  “Absolutely superb food! I ordered Crispy Shredded Chicken with Chilli and Mushroon Foo Yung, both dishes were piping hot, flavoursome and freshly prepared. Will use again and again, in my opinion the best chinese in the area!”

  “I have ordered from new world for years and the food has always been amazing. However tonight, when the food arrived I found a large thick black hair in my prawn crackers. After dishing up the food for my family, the food tasted stale as if it had been made 3 days prior and just been sat on the side. I appreciate these things can happen from time to time in busy periods etc, so I called up and explained that the food wasn’t up to the usual standard. The lady I spoke to agreed that they would come back to collect the order and refund my money as I had paid cash. The man turned up 3 hours later, banging on my kitchen window, so I went out with the bag of food. He then became aggressive, shouting in my face and telling me that I’m shameful and should be ashamed of my behaviour as the food was fresh and there was nothing wrong with it. I tried to explain that I order from there all the time and usually it is lovely but on this occasion it wasn’t and he then demanded that I get my partner out so he could tell him too (this was all caught on my ring doorbell!!). After giving me my money back he then told me that I am not welcome to order from the shop again and proceeded to stand at the end of driveway staring at me and trying to intimidate me! Extremely unprofessional! If you’re reading this review, do not order from this Chinese! The owner is a physco!”

  “I can’t really comment on the atmosphere as I ordered take away! However this Chinese take away was delightful. Lovely fresh food and great value for money. I think £38 fed around 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) which is much better than a lot of places. We collect as they do not deliver to us but it’s so worth it.”

  “Wow. This place used to have a great reputation about 3 years ago. It depends on which chef is on and what day/time you order that determines how tasty or poor your meal is. Unfortunately the last 3-4 times we’ve ordered it’s been poor. This has been the theme for the past year. We’ve had great takeaways but they are rare now! Noodles that look and taste a couple of days old, ribs burnt, crispy and meatless with brown over fried chicken balls and pancake rolls - a total waste of money. Don’t bother ordering from here, we certainly won’t be any more.”

  “Been ordering here for years. Always consistently great food, well cooked and generous portions, the chicken balls are fantastic! Service is always pleasant and food is delivered in good time, all at a good price. It's easily our favourite Chinese takeaway.”
