  “Outstanding quality, food and value for money. To have a takeaway with restaurant quality food is fantastic! The food is exceptional, tasty and so fresh. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I add additional requests (such as extra spicy or no veg in the chow mein) and customer service is outstanding! We have also eaten in the restaurant on one of the ABBA nights and it was brilliant, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough, you get what you pay for and this is by far the best restaurant/takeaway in miles!”

  “The food is very authentic—truly the taste of Hong Kong. Every time I go with my wife and mother, we are always very satisfied. The service is also excellent. That’s why I don’t understand why some foreigners criticize this restaurant. It’s honestly a joke. I have no idea what their intentions are. A foreigner criticizing the taste of foreign cuisine? If I were to dine at a British restaurant, I would never criticize its authenticity because I’m from Hong Kong and have grown up eating Hong Kong-style food. I wouldn’t be qualified to judge the authenticity of another country’s cuisine. That being said, this restaurant is absolutely worth trying. The owner and staff are very polite, and the food tastes amazing! 👍🏻”

  “We have dined at Charde Oriental on three occasions: once for takeaway, once for lunch, and most recently for a Lunar New Year dinner gathering. For the takeaway, we ordered roasted meats, which maintained their quality even after being brought home. The taste was quite good. During our lunch visit, we tried a lunch set and fresh seafood. The seafood was excellent, and although the price was slightly high, the quality made it worthwhile. However, the lunch set portions were a bit small, though still tasty. For the Lunar New Year gathering, we attended a "spring dinner" with 10 tables and around £2xx for each table (£2x for each person). While the dishes were served very quickly, the portions were disappointingly small—there wasn’t even enough char siu for everyone to have one piece. Although the flavours were decent, the lack of quantity left much to be desired; even as someone with a small appetite, they felt hungry afterward too. It would be great if they could improve portion sizes in the future.”

  “nice Chinese restaurant. lunch meal deal with Chinese tea is our favors. highly recommend roasted duck and roasted meat with crispy skin . no dim sum here. plenty of parking spaces. 5% discount if pay cash. highly recommended.”

  “Party of 4 people didn't have to wait long before shown to our table as the time we went it was quite.. had the set menu which I thought was value for money for what you got.. time inbetween courses again was just right didn't feel rushed. Staff was friendly yes I would go again food was very nice. Thank you”
