About Ori Caffe
Ori Caffe is a cafe in Nottingham, set upstairs inside the Victoria Centre next to John Lewis, which puts it beside a major department store for shoppers. Hot chocolate leads the drinks list, with a Luxury Hot Chocolate served with cream and a Nutella Hot Chocolate. Coffees run from latte and piccolo to decaf, and smoothies and a large fridge of chilled drinks sit alongside them. On the food side, a cheese scone comes warm with butter, and the sandwich list includes a vegetarian mix of goat cheese with fig jam. Cakes include vegan and gluten free options. Many indoor tables fill the space, and the cafe opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Coffee is what reviewers raise most, with one calling it the best in Nottingham and another singling out a piccolo, and a luxury hot chocolate with cream also gets praise for its rich, smooth flavour. Close behind are the friendly, welcoming staff, who several say remember regulars and handle allergy requests. Reviewers also name a feta, avocado and tomato sandwich on sourdough, a warm cheese scone, a mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwich, and cakes, with vegan and gluten free choices noted by a few. Some mention a good spot to work on a laptop with plugs, and the cafe is described as busy and packed, though food and drinks still arrived quickly. One reviewer found a gluten free goat cheese sandwich overpriced for its size, and another wanted the cake a little richer. One reviewer reports seeing an employee wipe his nose and face, then touch equipment and clean tables, and says a croissant had lettuce stuck to its base and was refunded.

“The highlight was definitely the coffee. The cake was decent too, nice and moist, though I wouldn’t have complained if it was a little richer. The most impressive thing was the friendly staff, they made me feel extremely welcome so I'll defo be popping back in at some point”

“The man that works there really needs to stop whipping his nose and face then touching the equipment and then cleaning tables definitely will not be returning. Also had to get a refund on the croissant as had lettuce stuck to the bottom of it so need to work on cross contamination as could of had allergies”

“We went to town and it was time for brunch / light lunch Staff were friendly , ordered a gluten free goat cheese sandwich with sticky fig jam / chutney it came toasted & delicious but quite overpriced £7.60 for its size Ordered decaf coffee for £3.70 & vanilla oat matcha for £4.50 which I really enjoyed They have great variety of sandwiches & cakes that suits majority such as gluten free or vegan options , all food are freshly made and nice coffees and a large fridge with chilled drinks Many indoor tables as well as outdoor seating area , the cafe is super busy & packed with people Staff were working hard to provide your food as quickly as possible”
