About Harry's Soul Station

Harry's Soul Station is a Southern-style restaurant at 35-37 Adelaide St in Norwich, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with cocktails on the menu. The day starts with the Southern Triple Hash Stack, and the breakfast list also runs to a full English and American pancakes. Later meals centre on ribs, which come as a half rack with BBQ sauce, and a ribs-and-wings combo puts both meats on one order. Dirty fries are a side to look for, including a version with pulled pork. Gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free options sit on the same menu. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays.

Customer Review Summary

Ribs draw the most praise, with reviewers describing meat that falls off the bone under plenty of sweet, tangy BBQ sauce, often as a half rack or in the Station Combo. Wings come close behind, called crispy, juicy and nicely glazed, and the sticky pork belly bites and brisket chilli get specific mentions. Upgraded dirty fries are a recurring favourite, including the Nutty Dutchman with peanut butter and chilli jam. Breakfast has its own fans, notably the Southern Triple Hash Stack and a gluten free full English with American pancakes, and several reviewers with coeliac, vegetarian or dairy free needs praise the choice. Staff are described as friendly. The complaints are small: one couple found both corn cobs stone cold, another reviewer noted a slightly longer wait for food, and one visitor sensed something unusual in the atmosphere. Dessert closes the meal for some, with an apple crumble cheesecake called fresh and homemade and a Bounty Affogato made with coconut ice cream and crème de cacao.

“Visited here for Valentines 2026 for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had the ribs meal and the meat was so soft and flavoursome, the ribs also had plenty of sauce on them which I was so pleased about as quite often in restaurants they don't have enough and can be dry. Really enjoyed the secretly seasoned fries as well! My partner had the ribs and chicken wings combo, he was very impressed with the quality and taste of the chicken wings, I tried one to and completely support this! Really good portion size for both meals too. We were both very excited to see they had apple crumble cheesecake for dessert so we each had one of these and wow this did not disappoint! It was so fresh and homemade, the cream cheese was quite light too which meant we were able to eat it all without it getting too sickly/rich. The only slight disappointment on the meals was that both of our corn cobs were pretty much stone cold unfortunately, which was a shame as it being served with garlic butter made it different to most places. Hopefully when we visit again the corn cob will be better next time. The atmosphere was great, busy but it felt manageable by the staff and wasn't too noisy or anything. The wait for food was slightly on the longer side, but we didn't mind this at all because when the meals did arrive they were as they should be and very good quality, so you don't mind waiting a bit longer for that. Although I think this place is mostly visited by locals, we didn't feel unwelcome or out of place, staff were very nice to us. We will definitely be going back, I have already told my group of friends and several work colleagues about this and can't wait to try other meals!”

“We usually come to Harry’s Soul Station for the wings, which are always incredible, but today we decided to try breakfast with my wife and daughter – and wow, we were seriously impressed. My wife and I both had the Southern Triple Hash Stack, and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Every layer was packed with flavour, the hash was perfectly crispy, and everything was cooked to perfection. Our daughter had the baby breakfast, which was a great portion and she loved it too. The service, as always, was absolutely top class. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive, which is why we keep coming back. It’s not often you find a place that nails both the food and the atmosphere every single time. Whether you’re going for the famous wings or giving the breakfast menu a try, you won’t be disappointed. Harry’s Soul Station has become one of our favourite places to eat in Norwich, and we’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended!”

“Good price especially for what you are getting with really friendly staff. The meat qas straight-up falling off the ribs, the wings were crispy, juicy, tender >.> and their bbq sauce glaze was actually really nice and balanced compared to what ive tried before. It's a really nice place in a really nice and quiet area.”

“What an absolutely wonderful hidden gem. Delicious food, excellent coffees all served with big smiles. I highly recommend the dirty fries with pulled pork! Yum! 😋 I will be back soon but it’s a 1000 mile round trip so maybe not every week! 🤣”
