  “Food came quickly but I am Sorry to say the veg spring rolls were poor. If you are utterly drunk and don’t care about the quality of your food, you might not care. But I was disappointed. They do allow to pay by card which is great. But as the picture shows, a very unusual and bland large spring roll that just didn’t hit the spot.”

  “Been using this place for years but tonight’s meal was absolutely bloody awful! The crispy chilli beef had no beef in it and the oil it was cooked in was so old it tasted like pork scratchings, everything else had no taste at all it was VERY BLAND! I rang them to complain and was told that there was nothing they would do to rectify the issue. So £30 worth of food has just gone straight in the bin…don’t know what was worse, the food or the attitude? I would advise people to go elsewhere…rant over…they weren’t concerned at all with losing a regular customer either…”

  “Regular at this place. Normally all good. However an off chance I got home (2mins down rd) and rice was cold. I rang to inform them. But wasn’t until after I’d already emptied rice onto plate with curry over top I realised how cold rice was!! They were willing to give another rice but not curry? What good is that?!! (Not even an offer of a discount next time!! Absolutely disgusted with the service. However the lady on the phone done all she could to explain to those in kitchen my issue (thank you) It was like it had been microwaved - Which would be fine…but it was hot in middle and cold around the edges? However they insist it came from steaming hot pot? As I say normally fine but I feel completely shocked that this was their attitude towards a regular customer!!! DISAPPOINTED & DISGUSTING… Needless to say I will certainly be on the look out for a different Chinese even if I have to travel further afield!! Customer service is Key!!! And I will certainly spread the word to locals how this Chinese ‘values’ their regulars!! Should be ashamed. All over some rice..? Really!!!”

  “First time here and by far the worst Chinese I have had in a long time. The chicken balls were soggy batter and tasteless. The chips were tasteless and probably overcooked. Hopefully others will have a better experience and this was just a one off but we will not be returning”

  “Worst Chinese meal ever ! Meal for one, chicken balls, they were like cannon balls with soft batter, inside was chicken that looked bad no seasoning, the chicken chop suey was bland, no water chestnuts or bamboo shoots and was tasteless, even the egg fried rice had no soy sauce added ! I was hungry but after a few forks of rice, I binned it. Don’t normally do this but it was so rough it needed saying. I’m not that fussy but this was awful. Not sure what others had saying it was good, need to get out or they had a better chef!!!!”

  “My favourite Chinese dish ever from here and any other chinese I have ever had (been a few!) is no 121. Deep fried chicken peking style. How the lettuce keeps crisp underneath is a mystery ( I suspect FRESH ingredients only used) Not too spicy but a nice kick. Magical .”

  “Amazing food! Amazing staff! We travel 15mins to get our Chinese from here! It’s definitely worth the drive! Food is still piping hot when we get it home! Food has so much flavour unlike some closer to home! Keep up the good work and reputation”

  “Always good. Used to drive miles for a good Chinese takeaway until I discovered this unassuming shop on my doorstep. Best sweet & sour chicken and chicken chow mein anywhere I've tried. Never go anywhere else now.”
