Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the cheap, quick breakfast and the low-priced beer, with several noting it undercuts other places in town. Staff draw steady praise as friendly and hard working, and diners mention the terrace, ordering through the app or QR code, and a small American breakfast. Pizzas with onion rings and chips are described as doing the job but nothing spectacular, while one diner found the fish and chips portion small. Temperature is the recurring complaint. One reviewer got cold beans and a cold egg for years before it improved, another had refrigerated eggs sent back and replaced by one red hot and one cold, and a third found a breakfast muffin cold, with the latte, hot chocolate and mocha from the drinks machine called dreadful. One reviewer also notes the Gents door letting urinal smell drift out near the upstairs Ladies. Another adds that this pub has no pizzas, which rules out the Pizza Club deal. One reviewer describes the women's toilets as posh.

“Popped in a couple of times on World Cup final day. Firstly just for a couple of Beers, Soft Drinks, a side of Onion Rings and Ice Cream, then later for a cheap dinner. Everything was done through the app, and service was great, all of the staff were so friendly and nice. At dinner we saw a promotion to get 3 Pizzas at a discounted rate, so went for 2 Mediterranean Vegetable ones, and 1 Pepperoni. We also opted for more Onion Rings and a Bowl of Chips, washed down with Beer and Soft Drinks. The food is as expected, does the job but nothing spectacular. It matches the reasonable prices.”

“Served eggs that were refrigerated temperature, sent them back. Served more eggs, one was red hot, the other was again refrigerated temperature. Ordered two slices of toast, only ever got one despite saying we ordered two. I'm not even that bothered, it was just very strange. Staff are great but well over worked, they need a payrise / more staff. The poor guy serving is running the whole place and doing miles on his feet. PS it's only 9am. Those guys are going to be shattered by lunch time.”

“A Weatherspoons is a Weatherspoons no matter where you are in the country. It was busy, as expected in a busy part of Newquay - food was nice and hot when delivered. Ordered using QR code...easy.”

“Another day, another Wetherspoons 😅 Good place to have a bite. Very good prices (even more considering what's around). Very quick service. It's the perfect spot to charge your phone while having a something to eat and get ready to keep exploring around. They have a terrace too, what is good. I forgot to make a picture of the food 😅 But I had a small American breakfast.”
