About Red Lion Newquay

Red Lion Newquay is a pub on N Quay Hill in Newquay, where the dining tables and window seats look out over Newquay Harbour and the bay. The bar serves Guinness alongside a selection of ales, ciders and lagers. Lunchtime brings deep fried specials, so the kitchen has a dedicated midday offering. Live music and dancing add a second reason to come in beyond the sea views, and a log burner sits inside the pub. The doors are open daily.

Good to know

“The Red Lion, Newquay — a proper British pub in a town that runs on salt air, surfboards, and good company. Some people find us after a long day in the sea. Others wander in after a coastal walk, or just pop in for a quick drink and a bit of peace. That’s how it usually starts. Newquay is a surfer’s paradise, and we’re right in the middle of it. Come in with sandy shoes, a healthy appetite, or just a thirst — you’ll fit right in. Dogs are welcome. Wet noses, sandy paws, and all. If your dog looks like it’s had a better day than you, that’s fine too. We care about the simple things done properly: good food, well-kept drinks, friendly faces behind the bar, and a place that feels easy to settle into. No fuss. No showing off.”
