Customer Review Summary

Beef pho is the dish reviewers return to most, described as light but flavourful, with bowls generous enough that one diner compared the size to their own head. Condiment jars of pickled garlic and chillies sit alongside fresh herbs and bean sprouts. Close behind are the crispy spring rolls and summer rolls, with single mentions of the Bun Cha, the spicy Hue Hot bowl and tempura prawns. Several praise the Viet drip coffee, and one notes the juices were freshly squeezed. Reviewers describe a homely feel and food that is fresh and filling. The room is small, and one reviewer found it hectic and not suited to romantic private dining. Another says upstairs is quite warm, one found the toilet in an odd spot downstairs by the kitchen, and one thought the drink menu limited. Staff come across as friendly, and one server took time to explain the drip coffee while rushing around. One family celebrating a birthday were sent spicy honey wings by the chef as a gift.

“YES, YES, YES... for vietnamese food. I can not recommend enough. Fair enough if you see from the streets from afar that the place isn't that big, in which I can affirm that it is not that big (not sure if they have seatings upstairs but it seems like they do). But there were around 4-5 other people in the main area in which make the atmosphere quiet hectic(?), so if you want like a romantic private dining with you loved ones, perhaps not suitable to go to this place. HOWEVER... if you are looking for a place to have a laugh and have a casual atmosphere, just a chill one, this place could be your choice. I believe I had the beef pho ones, can't remember what my partner had, but it was both incredible. It was light but flavourful, the portion is literally HUGE, the size of the pho bowl is the same size of my head. I think what I can remember for the drink menu, it was not that much. But the variation of the menu are so wide ranged and lovely options. The staff is very friendly as well, they would explain the food for you and recommend it what would you like. After reading this, I hope you straight away make your decision based on my review - it is worth the value of your money and the satisfaction for your hungry belly.”

“I've been here a good few times already, but I just love this place so much that I feel inspired to finally give it a review! This place truly is the best spot for food in Newcastle. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is just perfect. It's delicious every single time. My boyfriend and I come here usually once a month for the beef pho, and it's surely our favourite thing to do in the city. The staff are really friendly too, truly a wonderful restaurant! I tell everyone about it ☺️”
