Customer Review Summary
Coffee is what most reviewers praise first, described as strong, delicious and great, with a cappuccino and a decaf cappuccino both singled out. Close behind come the Italian food and sweets: a Sicilian pasta lunch recommended by the lady serving, a mini cannoli as a treat, tasty cakes, and boxes of treats bought for a team. Several describe friendly staff and a real Italian feel, and one notes the back terrace works well for kids, though the chairs inside are quite high. The criticism comes from a few accounts. Two reviewers describe slow drinks, one having to ask for coffees after finishing their paninis, another saying they sometimes chase up a coffee or tea. One calls it overpriced, with paninis full of Modena vinegar served on plastic plates, and found the young waitresses unfriendly. A long-time regular received a stone cold panini and says that asking for a warm replacement was met with attitude.

“The small skinny girl with the greasy hair served me a stone cold panini, being as I always get my paninis from Adrianos, and have been doing so for years, I thought maybe there’s been a mistake and wasn’t fussed, so I kindly asked the girl to make me a new one which was warm, as a panini should be. Straight away she had attitude and made me feel very unwelcome. I don’t mind paying near £7 for a panini, when done properly, but to be treated like that when the mistake was on the girl with the greasy hair ? If I see that girl working I will never go back to Adrianos deli, or recommend it to my friends and family.”
