Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return for the jerk chicken, praised as properly spiced and full of flavour, with curry goat and oxtail close behind, both described as falling off the bone. Rice and peas, brown stew chicken, salt fish fritters, plantain and shrimp also earn mentions, and one reviewer singles out a Japanese Fanta from the wide drinks range. Portions are repeatedly called massive or generous, and several say the price felt fair. Diners describe food arriving quickly and hot, with friendly service and an owner who clearly cares about his cooking. Halal options are noted approvingly by a couple of reviewers. The one reservation is small: a reviewer who otherwise loved the oxtail and jerk chicken found the dumplings unremarkable. Several diners finish by describing taking leftovers home because they could not leave them behind.

“The best jerk chicken and rice and peas I’ve ever had. Full of flavour, slightly spicy and you could tell the ingredients used were really fresh. 10/10 would recommend you try this place and love the inclusivity with halal options too!”

“The customer service from the lady who took my order was very good. The food was excellent and the portions are very generous. I thoroughly recommend the Brown Stew Chicken with Rice and Peas....It was spot on. The Chicken was very tender and wasn't too spicy. Definitely worth a visit!! 👍🏿”

“Jerk chicken and oxtail meal were one of the best I’ve genuinely had, ginger beer was so cold it was lovely and we ordered some patties and mac and cheese with two Rim punches to go. All amazing 🙏🏾 if you’re in Milton Keynes just take a stop”

“I’ve had Caribbean food quite a few times from different restaurants and honestly, most of them left me disappointed usually lacking flavour and spice. This place was completely different. The food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. The oxtail with rice and peas was delicious, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The jerk chicken was banging as well, properly spiced and packed with flavour. The portion sizes were massive. The only thing that didn’t really stand out for me were the dumplings but overall this was easily one of the best Caribbean spots I’ve tried.”
