  “Very enjoyable Steat Night Deal. 5 steaks, cooked as requested with plenty chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas and home made onion rings in a crispy batter with a variety of sauces and a free drink included in price of £15-£20 depending on steak chosen. Excellent choice of very good Ales. We visited here on our Narrowboat holiday but if we lived here this would be my local, great pub.”

  “Popped in without booking for the Sunday roast. Food was piping hot and delicious. Lots of different vegetables and so tasty! Excellent value for money too.”

  “Andy, Jordan and I came for tea tonight. Food was soooooo yummy, the staff are so lovely and Michael & Nicky always go out there way to make us feel part of the family!!! It’s very important that we can find a place where our son can feel comfortable, welcome and at ease. 5 stars from us! Highly recommended ⭐️”

  “My favourite local pub, always a great atmosphere that you just can’t beat. Staff are lovely and go above and beyond for you on every visit. The food is much better than stereotypical ‘pub’ food, we often come for celebrations and birthday meals! Great job guys well done :)”

  “The pub is under recent new ownership and we have been for Sunday lunch and Tuesday steak night on a number of occasions. Nicky and Michael are always really friendly and being a dog friendly pub is an added bonus. The food is always excellent evidenced by the clean plates that go back through to the kitchen. Moey is generally there to welcome us and is always friendly and welcoming. All in all The Crown is highly recommended.”

  “Ive recently had my 21st birthday party here and all I can say is it exceeded my expectations. From the decor, to the food, to the little details such as the owners (Nicky and Michael) kindly buying me a present! They were so accommodating, listened to our requests and delivered this at a very high standard. The buffet food was lovely and exactly what we were looking for! They accommodated for allergies, providing a separate container. It felt very private despite being in the main area of the pub and a lot of measures were done to maintain this. I could not fault the night. If you are looking for a place to hold events, this is definitely the place to go! Thank you so much, everyone had a wonderful time🥰”

  “Cracking pub and amazing food. Popped in for a meal on a Saturday and had a delicious lunch. Steak was superb and all our meals were excellent. Great choice and kids menu. Very warm welcome and dog friendly. Highly recommended.”

  “Sunday lunch family visited. We did book unable to be there until 2.30 consequently quite. Attention from staff exelent. Meal little light on meat content. Lamb ok gammon possibly running low due to time.”

  “We visited from a narrow boat on the canal. After a short walk, mb 10mins, we called in at this pub last week and had a great lunch sitting outdoors in their large patio area at the rear of the lovely old building. The service was great, food was delicious, above expectations and pleasantly reasonable too, highly recommended. Good beer with it as well. Thanks chef 🙂 n our friendly waitress 🙂”
