Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return for the lamb mandi, describing meat that is tender and falls off the bone and rice that is light and flavourful. Close behind are the chicken broast, including a chilli version, and the kunafa, though one reviewer found it only satisfactory. Others name the lamb stew, grilled fish, okra and an avocado and mango shake. The complimentary meat soup draws steady praise, and portions are described as large and quick to arrive. Service is mostly called friendly, but complaints recur. Several mention having to ask more than once for drinks or table cleaning, and one was told Yemeni tea was available and then that it was not sold. One reviewer says a quarter lamb was dry and undercooked and that soup advertised as free was charged at the till. Another received spicy chicken after ordering mild, and a third says the madgood rice was round and tomato-like rather than long basmati. Several note the dated seating, while others praise the private majlis room and floor seating.

“We ordered 2 portions of Mandi Huge portion of rice with 3 large pieces of meat each. 1 order or mgalgal. Came with 2 large naans. The taste was out of this world. And 1 hummus. The portion was OK, I love my Hummus, the portion should have been a bit bigger. Exceptional service. Aamzing staff. Served with a smile. I asked for more of the sauce they bring with the rice and was given a new bottle. I asked for more rice, not because I wanted more but we just wanted to test the service. And the guy almost ran to bring us more. I called him back and told him I was only testing. I will most definitely eat here again and 100% recommend. A hidden gem Update. Today I went back and ordered the chilli broast chicken. HONESLTY by far the best fried chicken in the world. Its better than albaik chicken in Saudi Arabia. MUST TRY.”

“Glad to find out that this place is serving true arabic style chicken broast here in the UK. Even the garlic sauce with it gives me nostalgia of my home town in Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇦 Absolutely love it and addicted to the service, taste & atmosphere. 🖤”
