  “It took more than half an hour for my delivery to arrive after the status was updated to “heading your way.” After waiting around 20 minutes, I called the store and spoke to a member of staff who told me the driver was on his way. After another 10 minutes, I called again. I only live about 10 minutes away from the store by car, so by this point the delivery should have arrived. This time, she told me the driver was already outside. I went outside to check, but there was nobody there. I also tried calling the number she gave me for the driver, but it went straight to voicemail. When I called the store again, she once again said the driver was outside. I pointed out that she had told me the exact same thing more than 10 minutes earlier and that the driver was already over 30 minutes late. Instead of trying to help or explain what was happening, she was rude and then changed the story, saying the driver was now 5 minutes away — despite previously telling me he was already outside! When I asked how I could make a complaint, she told me to complain to Uber Eats. However, the driver was a Pepe’s driver, not an Uber Eats driver, so I don’t understand why I was being directed to Uber Eats for an issue involving their own delivery driver and customer service. To make matters worse, when the driver finally arrived, he proceeded to hand my order to someone else without even checking the name. If the other person hadn’t checked the order, the driver seemingly wouldn’t have realised his mistake. The food was cold. Overall, extremely poor delivery service and very disappointing customer service. The constantly changing information, rude attitude and lack of basic checks when handing over the order made the whole experience unnecessarily frustrating. Reading the other reviews, I can see this is a pattern!”

  “Pepe’s in Manchester never disappoints! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, with generous portions and excellent quality. What really made the experience stand out was the outstanding customer service from Salina. She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely makes you feel valued as a customer, and Salina did exactly that. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service—I highly recommend Pepe’s Manchester and will definitely be back!”

  “I recently visited Pepe’s on Cheetamhill bury Road and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and well-seasoned, while the fries were crispy and delicious. The portions were generous and offered good value for money. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the visit. Service was quick, even during a busy period, which made the experience even better. Overall, Pepe’s is an excellent place for anyone who enjoys tasty grilled chicken and fast, friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and look forward to visiting again.”

  “Went there at like 1am, they’ve took ages to prepare the food. And also all the delivery drivers start having meetings in front of the till. And walk in customers have to stay behind and wait for a while before getting served.”

  “Had a great experience at Pepe’s, 40 Bury Old Road. The food was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Service was quick and everything was fresh. Highly recommend this branch!”

  “I came from Birmingham and have tried many Pepe’s branches, but the Old Bury Road location is really outstanding. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it—definitely worth a visit.”

  “I have updated my review. The new management have definitely tighten up things pretty good. 1) Service is good, 2) food is tasty and fresh and 3) atmosphere is nice. All the customer disappointed with previous management should give a another go to this place under new management.”
