  “1st time we have used these for a takeaway. We had a set meal for 2 yesterday. Well what can I say. Absolutely Yummy, Yum, Yum. Food was piping hot still when delivered by the young gentleman who was very polite, thoughtful and very good at his Job. Thank you to 1 and all. Will definitely be ordering from you again.   “I have ordered from Yue Yee for a long time now and have lived in the area for over 8 years and I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and lack of compassion tonight from the younger male who works there. There was an issue with the website, as I always request special instructions with certain food items, unfortunately this time this message did not get sent through to them, I received the wrong order and could not eat one of the items due to allergies. I called the shop as soon as I realised this and asked for the item to be replaced, and I would return the item that wasn’t appropriate, to only be told that they wasn’t prepared to help resolve the issue by charging me an extra £2 to rectify it. I explained that I am a regular customer and have been for over 8 years but the male said ‘that makes no difference’, he was not prepared to help resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I also don’t live far away for them to replace the item. It doesn’t take much to be kind and be loyal to their customers. Doesn’t reflect well on them I’m afraid to say.”

  “Absolutely disgraceful. Such a small quantity of food for a large amount of money. Dry and overly salted. Food was hard and extremely overcooked, enough to break your teeth!!”

  “Downhill. The rice was bland, the sweet and sour chicken had jelly like sauce which was off putting, the salt and pepper chips were plain and the salt and pepper chicken was just deep fried with no flavour. Really disappointed as I used to love this chippy but it has gone downhill. Will be requesting a refund. Threw it all in the bin”

  “Delicious Chinese food … recommended by a friend. We have always ordered from another local Chinese in the area for over 20 years, but recently it has gone downhill. We have been looking for a new one & tried lots of different places in the past few years. WOW !!! 🤩 Yu Ye House we are massively amazed by the taste, quality & portion sizes and your food is as good as a popular Chinese restaurant we visit in China Town. Thank you we are happy customers who ❤️ Chinese food.”

  “Used to be a really nice chippy/Chinese. Ordered a chippy tonight, not a very big order. They completely forgot one of the meals, was hard to get through by ringing them. Once I did, took nearly 40 minutes again for the meal. (1x fortune cookie for inconvenience)🙄. Delivery lady is nice though 👍🏼”
