Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken, praised for big portions and a flavour that one reviewer calls always spot on. Close behind is the curry sauce, described as spicy without being overpowering, along with crispy chilli shredded beef, soft noodles and prawn crackers. Lunch specials and affordable prices come up repeatedly as good value, and several describe friendly, hard-working staff, with one noting the staff handed over extras without a fuss. Food is cooked to order, so one reviewer mentions a little wait, while another says it arrived quick and still hot. The criticisms are mild and specific: one reviewer finds the Chinese mains just alright, the fish a bit hit or miss and the chips varying from not bad to alright, and another notes the place is cash only. Two reviewers single out that it is not halal, one as a drawback and one as a reason for praise. One long-time regular says the quality holds no matter what, and a first-timer left with a grin after paying in notes.
