About The Brewers Arms
The Brewers Arms is a community-owned pub on Lower Dingle in Malvern, run by a team of local volunteers and paid staff under two landlords. Up to six real ales are on the bar, drawn from a rotating selection of cask beers and local ales. The kitchen cooks classic British pub dishes, including a pie of the day, fish and chips and Sunday lunches. The inside space is small, and a separate room called The Pit can be booked for groups. The Malvern Hills are a short walk away, with walks nearby, and dogs are welcome at the pub.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the food at this community-owned pub, with the fish and chips, the pie of the day and a ham, egg and chips with double yolks named specifically. Diners describe classic British dishes that beat typical pub grub, with Sunday lunch vegetables called exceptional and a cheese platter and crab also praised. Close behind are the garden and outdoor area, where several mention stunning views, and a spot just steps from the Malvern Hills that suits a post-walk pint. Real ales and local cask beers, regularly rotated, draw praise, though one reviewer calls the beer range limited and another notes the inside is on the small side. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and welcoming, and one visitor notes the food had sold out by 8pm on a busy night while the team stayed chatty and helpful. A reviewer also mentions that dogs are welcome.

“This was our first visit since it became a community pub. What a brilliant job they have done. They now have an excellent selection of cask beers and the food was of quality that most, self-styled, gasto-pubs fail to achieve. The vegetables with our Sunday lunches were exceptional.”

“Dropped by over the weekend and had a lovely experience, the pub is pretty with an outdoor area and stunning view. Staff are fantastic, not being overzealous but supportive, efficient, helpful and around when you need them. The food is wholesome and elegant. Classic British dishes executed very well, no unnecessary bells and whistles. Just good food that will leave you satisfied and higher quality than your typical pub grub. Would recommend eating outside, if you can, as it is incredibly scenic and it really amplifies the whole experience. That being said, the inside area is well decorated and homely. Great drinks selection on draught and the usual suspects on the spirits and soft drinks side of things. Quality spot, and I'll be back again.”

“Community owned, community run. Wide beer options which are regularly rotated. Lovely beer garden with some of the best spring, summer and autumn views for any pub. Food is very reasonable. Prices good. The Pit is bookable as a good sized room. Lee is a great resident landlord too.”
