  “Wonderful little pub. Very friendly staff and great food. Child friendly with an enclosed play area. Dog friendly. They are also very aware of food allergies. If unsure, there's no guessing, they called suppliers to double check. I honestly can't fault them.”

  “In passing, my partner and I popped in for lunch and were greeted by Henk, Louise and all the locals as friends. This happened to be Louise's first time doing a full roast dinner and it was simply wonderful. This was real 'home cooking'. We will be back.”

  “Absolutely banging! Owners are lovely and so are their dogs. Went back two nights in a row. Singing in a jam session on the Wednesday and having steak on the Thursday. Go on steak night it's awesome. Thanks to both Hanks for helping make our holiday”

  “Visited fist time on Sunday. Had made a reservation on line. Great old school pub loads of character,warm cozy feel. Greeted by the young owner. Very friendly and helpful with the sections on none alcohol beers. Showed to our table and handed the menu. I can vouch for the stake superb as we're the onion rings ( only two would of preffered more) my taste obviously, chips home made,mushrooms locally sourced as we're the tomatoes I would say full of flavour and fresh. The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning and making it our local.”
