Customer Review Summary

Friendly staff are the draw reviewers raise most, described as lovely and helpful, with service with a smile. A good pint comes close behind, one reviewer calling it perfect and others praising the selection of beer and wine. The atmosphere is called lively and friendly, and one reviewer's group hired the skittles alley, with a separate area where adults could socialise while the children played. The same reviewer found the vegan bucaneer burger filling, fresh and tasty. The one critical review comes from a visit to watch the England match. That reviewer says the barman put the TV on without the sound, and reports that the gents toilet had no soap, a hand drier that did not work and was not very clean. The remaining reviews are warm, and one praises the landlord so highly they never want to leave. Another says the locals made strangers welcome.

“What a lovely pub! My friend hired the skittles alley for a group of us and our children and they all had such a fun time. The food was delicious - I had a vegan bucaneer burger which was really filling with lots of fresh ingredients and very tasty - and all of the service team were so friendly and helpful. It's very much a locals pub with a lively and friendly atmosphere in the main parts and great to have an area that's separate to the grown ups where you can socialise with your friends and children together - we will be back😊”
