About Mallus Restaurant
Mallus Restaurant is an Indian restaurant on Maidstone High Street, with a sit-down dining room and table service. The kitchen is one of the few in the area that serves an Onam Sadhya meal, the festive banana-leaf spread from Kerala, and the wider menu leans into Malabar cooking alongside the broader Indian range. Malabar Chicken Biryani, parotta and beef roast sit on the menu, with masala tea, fresh mango juice and fresh lime soda available to drink. The room takes walk-ins during service.

“I went to Mallus yesterday with my friends. Ordered Malabar Chicken Biryani, Parotta, and Beef roast. The food was exceptionally good - very flavoursome biryani, tasty and well cooked Beef roast, and fluffy Parotta (though small ones). I think the beef roast and Biryani appeared to be intended for Keralites and so did not lack flavour or was bland. Thank you to the chef. We also ordered Masala Tea, Fresh Mango Juice and Fresh lime soda. The mango juice was really good and the lime soda was as well. Masala Tea - something was missing. As before the restaurant ambience was good, the service was good, the whole stuff was clean. (The food was not the best. But the ambience and service provided was top class (Old Review)”
