About Taj Cuisine
Taj Cuisine is an Indian restaurant at 1 Walderslade Centre in Chatham where guests can bring their own alcohol, since none is served on the premises. The kitchen focuses on the modern Indian end of the range, with curries and grills leading the menu alongside a selection of dishes suited to takeaway orders. Seating is available in the dining room for those eating in, and the same kitchen handles collection and delivery. Tables are reserved by reservation, so booking ahead is required. The room takes walk-ins only when a table happens to open. The Walderslade Centre setting keeps parking and access straightforward for visitors arriving from the surrounding streets.

“We ordered at 8pm on a Wednesday and were told the food would be with us by 8:30pm however after numerous chases and being told they lost our order but would be here by 9:30, our food did not arrive until almost 10pm! Especially for a Wednesday this is a ridiculous wait time! The food may have been nice but certainly not worth the wait. The man answering the phone was also very abrupt and unapologetic. When asked for a refund or money off they just advised the food was round the corner and 1 minute away yet still took another 15 minutes. Will not order as a takeaway again. On top of this they even missed some of our order”

“Wonderful meal as always here, staff are friendly and polite. We came for our anniversary dinner. Both meals were delicious, chicken tika korma and peswari nan. I had peswari.... something sorry I've forgotten its name, its a chefs special and a garlic nann. Really tasty and fresh food. They dont serve alcohol but you can take your own, no real bother as there is plenty of soft drinks to choose from. Really recommend this restaurant.”
