  “Ate here for the first time last night and the food was delicious 🤤 the staff were very welcoming and attentive. I recommend this restaurant over any other curry house in Loughton. It felt like a warm friendly atmosphere and all the tables barring a few were occupied. I did say don’t reserve a table but I think maybe we were lucky to get a table so maybe do reserve to make sure you do get a table if coming from further out of Loughton. You won’t be disappointed with the delicious food. Just one and only thing the coca colas would be better if served chilled and not warm 😊”

  “Delicious food and fantastic customer service. I ordered set sides and a choice of mains for 10 people to have the food to take away. This was for a social gathering at St Marys Church. Abdul, the owner of the restaurant, was very accommodating and made sure our food was ready for the time we needed it and even gave us some extra sides. The food was fresh, hot and delicious and our team thoroughly enjoyed their meals. If you are looking for great food to have as a takeaway or if you are having a gathering and want Indian food, I highly recommend Forest Tandoori.   “Sunday lunch buffet - great food and variety to choose from. They were fantastic with our small child. Attentive and friendly service. All of this for £16 per person! Fantastic value for money! I have only been here twice for the Sunday buffet, so can't comment on 'normal service' times. Everytime we went, people where having a birthday party or celebration and what a good way to spend it! We will do the same for a family celebration too! We are pleased to support a local business like this!”

  “My family has lived in the area for over 25 years, so amazing that this is the first time we have been here to dine in and have never sampled the takeaway. It was a family meal and we wanted something close to home for ease of getting there as my parents find it difficult to go too far. Wonderful staff, friendly, attentive and polite. Excellent service. The food is tasty the portions are the right size. Not too big and so having lots of different dishes makes for a tasty meal with lost of different tastes. If you are in the area or visiting and want a tasty Asian meal you should get along here.”

  “By far the best Indian buffet I’ve been too. There was a very good selection of food, with plenty of options to suit everyone, including children. There is a wide variety of dishes available, which makes it great for trying different flavours and finding something new each time. The customer service was amazing throughout our visit, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a really enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Indian curry.”

  “Came here for dinner with a small group, and we were quite disappointed with the experience. The food was just okay, and for the most part, the staff was not helpful. Most of what we ordered was a bit underwhelming in taste, with the vegetable samosa and garlic naan very disappointing. I asked the waiter taking our order if the vegetable shashlik had dairy and he said no. To double-check, I asked if there wasn't yogurt in the marinade because of a dairy allergy. He said, "it's okay, it's just a little." This is unacceptable considering customers may not always know how a dish is typically made.”

  “Was greeted at front of house, there was quite large waiting area with seating available. This is something you do not get in many restaurants. We was taken to our table promptly as we had reserved before hand. My kids enjoyed the evening though it was Friday night it wasn't as busy as confirmed by staff. I presume Mothers day is on 10th March everyone is holding back to treat mummy. The food was fantastic will recommend anyone, thanks to the Manager Jamie Khan for complimentary desserts for my daughters made their night. Thanks to the kind friendly staff for their lovely top notch service.”

  “Me, solo diner at 5:20 on the first cold Monday in December. Really fancied something hot and spicy. Walking past the restaurant I could smell what I had been thinking about for the past hour! As I was so early, I was their only customer for my entire dinner. Chicken Jalfrezi is my "go-to" so that's what I ordered...having lived in India, its a good benchmark! I was welcomed with open arms into a huge but empty restaurant. Food came relatively quickly and was tasty, fresh and served with care and attention. Little bursting spikes of cardamom in my main which was slightly different. Mushroom rice, delicious, onion bhaji the only disappointment on the table. Didn't seem overly fresh and lacking flavour. A word of warning! Go with a huge appetite! Portion sizes are gargantuan! I'd eaten a full meal and there was enough chicken, sauce, rice and bhaji left to feed another person! Plus the chicken pieces were massive! I was slightly embarrassed that I'd left so much so I did mention to the lovely staff about their portion sizes. Overall, very good. 👍”
