  “Food is outstanding and staff are excellent and attentive! Great pub to visit as a couple, group of friends or large family gatherings. Have previously chosen a selection of pizzas which are delicious and far better than anywhere else. Have tried a number of dishes off the menu especially the dishes that the Head Chef promotes on the socials. It really helps entice you to try the amazing dishes that are currently leaving the kitchen at The Bradgate. You cannot go wrong with the set menu - great value for money!”

  “We chose this based on reviews and proximity to the National Space Centre. The outside is beautiful kept and the inside also attractive. We were served by two relatively new staff, both of whom were very friendly. I was very happy with my large piece of salmon on a bed of smashed potatoes with purple sprouting broccoli. The chive sauce was lovely. My husband had the pork steak which was a little on the firm side but the chips were perfect.”

  “Heading home after my weekend stay locally, I decided to pop in on the off chance they could fit me in for Sunday lunch — and I’m so glad I did! I was greeted with such a warm welcome and they kindly found space for me. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the beef shin filled Yorkshire pudding 😋 — genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The staff, although young, were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for me. They were polite, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure I had a great experience. The music and atmosphere were spot on too — relaxed and enjoyable without being too loud. The only small downside for me personally was that they didn’t accept cash, as I prefer having the choice of payment method. That said, this is just my personal preference and doesn’t take away from the quality of the food or how professional and welcoming the staff were. I’d definitely return again if I’m back in the area in the future.”

  “Lovely service, nice calming atmosphere. We had a vegan curry here on a Friday evening. It was delicious. The spice was just right for anyone who likes medium spice. The flavours were good and rice cooked perfectly, it was an eye catching dish. We had a glass of red vegan Malbec which was also good.”

  “Calamari was a bit rubbery but the pizza was superb. I had the Bradgate and it was bigger than I expected and to be honest, better than I expected. It was really good. I give a 3 for atmosphere at it was early evening and not many people in the place, but it was getting busier as we left. The decor and surrounding areas like the patio areas are being refurbished and the standard is very good and overall a great improvement with the new owners from the last time we visited. The service from the ladies front of house was excellent, and I couldn't ask for any thing more from them. I dropped one star from the food rating for the overcooked calamari. I did eat it, and it wasn't inedible, just overcooked.”

  “Wonderful first visit! We drove past the pub and decided to check it out on a whim. Even though it was lunchtime on a Saturday they were able to seat us straight away. They had a great range of food choices, including a pizza menu where they cook all of them in a beautiful pizza oven that you can see. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. They are child friendly and dog friendly including inside.”

  “The Bradgate is a big gastro pub in the quaint village of Newtown Linford. It has recently been refurbished and looks lovely. Warm and friendly greeting from the staff upon arrival for our booking. The wasn't over busy and we were a bit disappointed when it took so long to take our order for drinks. We ordered our meals soon after. The drinks arrived but we had a longer wait for the food. They missed two of the meals from the order due to a mishap but they apologised for the error and provided the missing meals free of charge. The quality and choice of the food was excellent particularly for Coeliac/gluten free.”
