Customer Review Summary
Wine is the main draw, with reviewers praising the selection and the staff's recommendations, including an orange wine one called unique and a red another found great tasting. Service is described as friendly and attentive, and one server offered to mix a non-alcoholic soda for a guest who didn't drink. The food gets credit too, with the burrata with pesto and squash, the baked Camembert and the cheese board singled out, and the dark, cosy, intimate cellar setting in a former bathroom is a recurring pleasure. One reviewer strongly advises booking, and another notes limited food on Sunday nights and suggests dinner elsewhere. The complaints are specific. Two reviewers found the meat and cheese boards small for the price, with only a few bread pieces or crackers to share, and one called the raclette starter tiny. Another reports bar wine prices well above the online menu. One reviewer describes cobwebs and dirty corners, and a banana old fashioned that arrived as a regular one and was fixed by adding banana liquor, making it overwhelming. Another says a booked seat was soaked by rain and the waitress shrugged it off as an old building.
