About Wild Corner
Wild Corner is a wine bar and kitchen in London, set in a lounge bar on Chelsea Green at 8 Elystan St. The wine list centres on the highest-quality wines available by the glass, so a glass is the way in rather than a full bottle. Cocktails sit alongside the wine for those who want something else. The kitchen serves tapas-style food in small portions, with duck, steak and goat cheese among the dishes. Wild Corner opens evenings only, Monday to Saturday, and closes on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the wine list, with several praising the chance to drink high-end bottles by the glass, and a wine tasting lunch also earns a mention. Close behind is the food, where the duck, steak and goat cheese are named as delicious, and tapas portions are described as small but rich in flavour and filling. Cocktails and a welcoming, friendly team come up repeatedly, along with a comfortable, cosy room and al fresco seating on Chelsea Green. Price is the recurring complaint. Two reviewers call the drinks expensive, one says the glass pours feel like shrinkflation, and one says they left for another bar nearby because cocktails cost too much to stay on. The sharpest criticism is one reviewer's account of bitter, acidic ceviches and four small ravioli that felt overpriced. One diner adds that the smell of cooking lingers on clothes.

“Was part of a party that attended Wild Corner on Thursday 25/6/2026 What a wonderful venue, the food was fabulous and the staff were all friendly and served the drinks and food with a smile nothing was too much trouble, to the owners of this venue you really do have a wonderful team well done .”

“Absolutely loved here. Great wine selection, and tapas comes with small portions however so much rich full flavour. You easily get full with small portions”

“Quaint lounge bar on the Chelsea Green. Idyllic on a sunny day to enjoy a drink al fresco although somewhat tempered when scanning the prices on the drinks menu. More irritating is the shrinkflation methodology used when ordering by the glass. I know profit is the oxygen of all businesses but this is pure oxygen!”

“Popped in for a spontaneous cocktail with friends. Nice vibe and cocktails were good too, but boy oh boy are they expensive. I don’t understand the pricing because if they had been 1/3 cheaper we would have stayed for more which over the evening would have resulted in more revenue and profit for the owner. Instead we went round the corner for the rest of the evening. I’d come back since I enjoyed it but only very infrequently owing to the pricing.”
