Customer Review Summary

Pad thai is the dish diners name most, with chicken and beef versions praised alongside a tofu massaman curry for flavour and generous portions. Close behind is the kitchen's willingness to adapt dishes to vegan, which two reviewers say staff helped identify and modify. Drunken noodles, tom yum, coconut milk chicken soup, summer rolls and papaya salad each get individual mentions. Service is mostly described as quick and friendly, and one walk-in party without a reservation was accommodated, though another reviewer says weekends get busy and recommends booking. The complaints are specific. One diner with allergies says emails went unanswered and a phone call promised any dish could be made without any ingredient, yet the waitress said no, laughed, refused a salad without dressing, and rushed the table after mains. Another says mains arrived right after the starter at a small outdoor table with no side plates, and a takeaway customer wished for delivery. One regular recounts the owner handing over a free can of coke because they looked over-heated.

“I emailed twice to ask whether they had any options that were allergy friendly to me. I received no reply. I called up to ask and was told definitively "We can make any dish without any ingredient. We can make everything fresh". When I tried to order, the waitress told me they couldn't make what I wanted. I told her that someone told me over the phone that morning that they could. She laughed and said "No". I then asked for a salad without any dressing, but the waitress told me I wouldn't like it. I told her it would be fine for me but she refused to order it. It was then a frantic search for anything on the menu I could have, and they ended up just making some plain noodles with beef and vegetables. The waitress also rushed us and told us they needed the table shortly after mains. The stress of ordering wrecked my date. This place needs to learn 1. To answer emails, 2. To have informed staff and 3. Not to laugh at customers when they're struggling to order.”

“We ordered takeaway and were really impressed. We had the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry with tofu, and both dishes were incredibly flavourful. The portions were very generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Great value for money. It’s a shame they don’t offer delivery”

“I just received a free can of coke for my loyal service to this restaurant as the owner thought I looked over-heated. This is the best Thai restaurant around. Absolutely amazing food and service!”
