  “Amazing amazing food and staff are so friendly! We’re locals who will definitely keep coming back. 10/10 fresh ingredients and the sushi is so buttery soft & the ratio of everything is just perfect. Their side dishes are all so fresh and tasty - I’d get the miso soup and prawn tempura again and again!!!”

  “First time ordering from here and I’m really impressed. I got the Dragon Roll and the Japanese chicken takeaway, both were absolutely delicious and tasted really fresh. The quality was great, portions were good, and everything was nicely prepared. Will definitely be coming back again!”

  “Food here is really good and well made. The waiters are incredibly sweet, and knows their menus. They are great with recommendations and smiling. All sushi were great, however somewhat overpriced, when compared to similar places, with good quality sushi. Note that the bill doesn't have a service charge, so remember to tip your waiter. 😉”

  “We love Nippon! We have been ordering takeaway and going in for a while now. We love going in. The service is amazing. They are lovely with our children and take a special interest and take time to make sure we can enjoy our meal. The food choice is wonderful and we have enjoyed everything we ate there. They do lunch specials every weekday which are great value. We always have the Japanese tea with our meal/ I have tried the saki cocktails once and it was great! - We have regularly tried all their lunch specials: bento boxes, donburi, curries and ramen. Our favourites from what we’ve tried over our visits : - Katsu curry - Omu rice - Japanese fried chicken - Bento boxes (esp tempura, teriyaki) - Donburi (beef and pork were good. It’s the ones we’ve tried) But you really can’t go wrong with what you eat there. We will keep going back as it’s our regular lunch choice during weekdays and weekends. Thank you for the great service and food Nippon team!”

  “We had a wonderful evening at Nippon Izakaya — perfect spot for a date night! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The sushi was outstanding — fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation. We also tried the tiramisu mille crêpe cake and the pistachio mille crêpe cake for dessert, both were absolutely delicious and a perfect end to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-quality Japanese food in a warm, relaxed setting. Can’t wait to come back!”

  “Incredible place, went here to catch up with a group of friends and one of them was late so we we're just waiting outside. The staff was extremely understanding and held a table for us inside and invited us in. They also let us stay for a long period even during a busy dinner service and I am very grateful. Food was incredible and the menu was very extensive, with a lot of Japanese dishes I haven't tried before. Highly recommend”

  “Booked via a groupon deal and added a couple of additional dishes on the day. The food was good but we were only in the restaurant about 35 minutes. Drink prices were very high with a small water for £3.50. Very difficult to park in the area.”
