About Nando's Covent Garden
Nando's Covent Garden is a restaurant in London's theatre district, at 66-68 Chandos Pl, a three-minute walk from Charing Cross station. The kitchen centres on PERi-PERi chicken, and diners pick their heat from the PERi-ometer spice scale. The Fino Pitta and the Sunset Burger sit alongside it, with sharing platters, salads and plant-based options elsewhere on the menu. Sides and extras round out the order, and the sauce and drinks are bottomless. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, which suits a meal before a show or a team lunch. It is open daily, and Covent Garden and Leicester Square stations are each about five minutes away on foot.

Customer Review Summary
The caveats are about format and space. Ordering goes through the app or a counter rather than the table, which surprised one returning diner. Tables for two sit very close together, and one reviewer calls the inside very loud. One diner found the burger a tad small for its price. A reviewer who visits several times a week says the chicken comes out the same each time.

“A well run operation. The staff were really busy but everyone handles it so well. Our host Fran was lovely. Food as good as Nandos does. Busy but didn't feel that way.”

“Had an early dinner at the Covent Garden restaurant before a show and the service was good. Did not have to wait for a table and was served very quickly. The food was nice, hot and consistent for Nandos, however my only criticism is that the tables for 2 are VERY close together, you may as well be eating with the couple at the table next to you. The service was good in terms of we were seated quickly and brought our drinks glasses and food quickly, but as with all Nandos you are encouraged to order via the app, so minimal service is required really.”

“honestly don’t think I could survive London without my Nando’s fix! I find myself at the Covent Garden location at least three times a week, and it truly never disappoints. First off, the vibe here is just great. It’s such a nice, lively place to sit down, whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or catching up with friends. But beyond the atmosphere, it’s the consistency that keeps me coming back. Every single time, the chicken is cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and exactly how I like it. You know exactly what you’re getting, and that reliability is rare these days. What really makes this specific branch stand out, though, is the team. The servers are consistently polite, friendly, and efficient, even when it’s packed (which it usually is in such a busy part of the city!). It makes a huge difference to be greeted with a smile and to have staff who genuinely seem to care about your experience. If you’re in Covent Garden and looking for somewhere that is guaranteed to hit the spot, this is it. It’s my absolute favorite place to eat—I’m basically part of the furniture there by now! Highly recommend it to anyone craving a solid, delicious meal.”
