About Lebanese Gardens
Lebanese Gardens is a Lebanese restaurant at 225 Balham High Rd in London, combining a full table menu with a shisha garden. Mains include mixed grill, lamb chops served with fries and salad, and grilled sea bass. Starters begin with vine leaves and hot appetisers, and desserts and tea finish the meal. Shisha comes in several flavours, with a VIP option for guests who want it alongside their food. A pool table stands in the dining area, so a meal here can include a game. Customer Review Summary
Grilled mains draw the most praise, with the mixed grill named most often and lamb chops, described as beautifully seasoned, juicy and succulent, close behind. Grilled sea bass, vine leaves, hot appetisers, grilled chicken wings and Lebanese sausages also earn mentions, along with desserts and tea. Reviewers repeatedly call the food fresh and delicious, the staff friendly and attentive, and the restaurant clean with a relaxed atmosphere. One regular rates the VIP shisha highly. Another reviewer found the Lady Killer flavour the worst shisha they had tried, though the other two at the table were excellent. That same reviewer reports being overcharged on the bill and describes the manager as rude and dismissive when it was raised, and says only two small tables were prepared for a booking of seven. A separate group of seven was first seated near the pool table, then reseated, and finished the meal with desserts and tea.

“We had such a lovely experience at Lebanese Gardens Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Lebanese flavours. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. 😍 The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The restaurant was also very clean and had a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the customer service. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I never leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel other customers should know. We made a reservation for 7 people, but when we arrived, only two small tables had been prepared for us, which made no sense for a group of our size. We ordered the “Lady Killer” shisha flavour, and it was by far the worst shisha we’ve ever had. Even so, I told the manager that I was happy to pay for it despite the fact that we barely used it because the flavour was so bad. The other two shishas we ordered were excellent. I didn’t think it was fair to charge us for something we couldn’t enjoy, but I didn’t want to argue about it because that wasn’t the main issue. The biggest issue came at the end of the night when we noticed our bill was £11 more than it should have been. We checked the bill three times and realised we had been overcharged. While we were simply trying to sort out the payment, the manager showed no patience, no understanding, and no professionalism. Instead of helping us resolve the situation calmly, he was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful from the moment we arrived until we left. My family and I went there to relax and enjoy our evening together, but it turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. It wasn’t about the money—it was about the way we were treated. Good customer service starts with good management, and unfortunately that was completely missing. The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the two waiters who looked after us—the lady and the gentleman with glasses—were absolutely amazing. They were polite, friendly, attentive, and did their best despite the situation. They deserve recognition for their excellent service.”

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and well organized, which made the atmosphere comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I was impressed by both the quality of the service and the care taken in preparing the meals. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.
