About GAZETTE TRINITY
GAZETTE TRINITY is a French restaurant in London, on Trinity Rd, set in a glass-roofed greenhouse with country-style rustic decor. The menu follows traditional French bistro cooking, with oysters as a starter and steak tartare among the steak dishes. Flambéed and pancake-style desserts, including crepe suzette, finish the meal. The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, including Sundays, so the greenhouse room is in use from morning through the evening. Reservations are required. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Desserts draw the most praise, led by a crepe suzette one reviewer calls the best they have tasted, alongside a pancake drizzled in cognac, a chocolate soufflé with madeleines, and an apple tart big enough for two. Close behind are the starters and steak: oysters and a creamy goat's cheese starter, steak tartare prepared at the table, bavette, and chateaubriand. Others single out the mushroom risotto, duck, Brie burger, and the Naughty Benedicte at breakfast. Reviewers describe the room as cosy and relaxed, with friendly, fast service. The complaints are specific. One diner reports flies landing on the food and a warm dining room despite air conditioning, and the same table found the bavette with sauce arrived without the salad, with the red wine overpriced. A party of ten felt it was rude that two staff said no goodbye or thank you on leaving. One breakfast visitor describes a staff member seating them before opening and making a coffee while the kitchen was still closed.

“The food was lovely and enjoyed by all. Service was great until the end. Two members of staff were close by when 10 of us left and neither said goodbye or thank you. We found this quite rude sadly. The restaurant was not busy either so no excuse. It felt as if once the money was handed over... end of pleasantries so disappointing.”

“Absolutely Loved it and highly recommend. Been to Gazette many times, but I think it’s actually got even better. Great service, lovely traditional French food, pleasant atmosphere, great deals and affordable prices. Had the Tuesday deal Oysters, goat cheese and chateaubriand followed by chocolate soufflé and madeleines (all freshly made). Plus a very nice Muscadet and Bordeaux. A great birthday treat and will be back for the lunches here. Enjoy!”

“Truly wonderful food and service. Warm and attentive staff, especially Gatien, who looked after us very well, and made us laugh. We can’t wait to return. Food tip: best crepe suzette I have ever tasted!”

“I popped in for breakfast on a cold and wet Sunday morning in January. Although they didn't open until 10am, Gatien kindly let me take a seat before that and made me a coffee. When the kitchen opened, I ordered the Naughty Benedicte and spinach with garlic - both absolutely delicious. And the service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.”
