“I’ve been loving this place for a while now as I’ve visited a couple of times, unfortunately my last weeks experience was not up to the mark as the waiter was really rude to me. I came in with my colleagues for a formal dinner meet and this waiter was being very rude and unprofessional towards us which gave me second hand embarrassment, he was awful and not at all professional. I felt not at all satisfied because whenever I came to visit there was this really kind waitress who was always respectful towards me but I’m not quite sure if she was there that day. I don’t recall her name but I think she mentioned it as tamanna? Overall I did not expect this from my favourite diner.”

“Extremely disappointing experience. I've been to this branch before with no issues, so I decided to watch the World Cup final here. Upon arrival, was told we'd have to pay £50 per person just to sit down — £150 for the three of us — before we'd been seated or seen the menu. I'm not sure if this is a new policy or specific to this branch, but being asked for £150 upfront with no context, felt very weird.”

“We ordered the mixed grill and it was really delicious. I loved the chargrill flavour of the chicken and the sauces really complemented the dish. It was great that rice and salad was provided and it wasn’t extra like other places. The price was affordable and service is good. The waitress attended to our needs and was very helpful and polite. I would definitely come here again with my partner”

“I have visited Kaboom around five times over the years, and unfortunately, I have not seen any improvement whatsoever. The cocktails were disappointing, lacking the strength and flavour you would expect. The shisha was even worse — although there was a noticeable aroma from the flavour, there was virtually no taste when smoking it. This suggests a poor-quality product, which is frustrating as a customer. If you want customers to return, you need to ensure that you are providing good-quality products and a consistently enjoyable experience. Anyone can cut costs and sell cheaper products, but customers will not keep coming back if the quality is not there. Another issue was the wine service. The menu advertised wine by the glass, but when ordering, we were told that only full bottles were available for purchase. This is misleading and highly unprofessional. Overall, after multiple visits over several years, I am disappointed that the same issues remain unresolved. Quality and consistency are key to customer loyalty, and sadly, neither was evident during my visits.”

“Great place, very nice food, and amazing service! Definitely recommend going here. It’s also a great place to watch the football World Cup - they have a big screen and shisha too 😃”

Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the mixed grill, praising the chargrill flavour of the chicken, sauces that complement it, and rice and salad included rather than charged extra. Close behind, several describe food that is full of flavour, beautifully presented, fresh and well seasoned, with a refreshing, fruity mocktail as a highlight. Staff are described as accommodating, kind, helpful and polite, and one reviewer calls it a great place to watch World Cup football on a big screen with shisha. The complaints are sharper. During World Cup events, one reviewer reports a long wait for shisha and wings that arrived raw and bleeding, were swapped for the same problem, and a manager who declined to speak with them. Another was asked for a per-person payment upfront just to sit for the final. A repeat visitor found the cocktails weak and the shisha nearly tasteless, and was told only full bottles of wine were available despite a by-the-glass listing. One diner also reports a rude waiter at a work dinner.
