Quick info
About Chop Chop
Chop Chop, a hairdresser on Heath Road in Twickenham, runs by appointment, with slots taken over the phone or through online booking. Clients who already have a colour they trust can bring their own in for a tint, regrowth work included, and perms sit alongside cuts and blow-dries on the service list. A wash, cut and blow-dry is among the regularly requested bookings. Appointments are made with a specific stylist rather than whoever is free, so returning clients can go back to the same person each time. Payment is by cash, so it is worth arriving prepared. A step-free entrance keeps the place reachable for visitors with mobility needs. The doors open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Most of the praise here circles a single stylist who listens: repeat visitors describe a wash, cut and dry that cleared out months of dead ends, a cute fringe, a pixie cut a mother in law was happy with, and a regrowth tint and blow dry arranged at short notice for a visitor from Australia, with the stylist willing to use colour the client brought in. Several mention friendly conversation and a result matching or beating what they pictured, and one notes booking online was easy enough to do on the bus. The dissent is substantial and points at the same chair. One reviewer describes a slack perm that came out almost entirely straight after what she felt was too little lotion, another says a dry ladies cut was finished in minutes with no layering and had to be recut at another salon, and a third says a request for layers went unheard. The perm customer says nothing was offered to put it right.

“I went here today l,l never go back again im so disappointed i asked for a slack perm when i booked appointment over the phone After doing my hair she said I thought it was a tight perm u asked for on the call. I told her no i asked for a slack perm she said sorry this is a tight perm ive done .so i thought ok no.problem . But when she washed it, It wasn't curly at all .Then she said its because it's wet.she then started shaking my hair to try and dry it with her hand. She said you see the waves coming. I said no i see no curls at all i came out with a few waves 2 or 3 rest of hair pure straight .I have been here a year before the perm was ok. So lana I'm sure her name was she new what I liked . she said she remembered me. but I did explain as it was a while that i had been. I wanted curls slightly slack total waste of £100 if I can give 0 review I would. At first there really nice to you but as soon as I asked were is the perm they get enoyed at me even the man as I expected him to intervene as he was the boss but made excuses.. I left the shop looking like I hadn't had anything done my hair looked like it had just been left to dry from wet .without brushing it i was so upset I wouldn't recommend at all I paid out of not wanting to inbarrasse my partner I shouldn't have paid the cut was horrible .total waste of money .went to another hair dresser straight after they said there's no way this is a slack perm . they couldnt understand how this shop would let me leave there premises how i did .they said you should have asked to do again or pay only for the cut. But I did pay when I shouldn't have .I do not recommend here .they should be ashamed didn't even offer to do anything to resolve it they just wanted me out the shop they do not care after they make a problem for customers .when they should .what I noticed when doing my hair she didn't put much perm lotion on my hair so maybe that's why it didn't turn out they even missed putting it on parts of my hair I was thinking that can't be right but I thought she must no what she's doing. I was shy to say are you sure ur using enough lotion to actually perm the hair .highly do not recommend here sadly”
