Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the soft play areas, singling out the separate zones for different age groups, the climbing jungle gym frame, and the outdoor bouncy castles with a slide as standout features. The cafe’s extensive menu and fresh-looking desserts draw frequent mention, with several noting the kids’ fish fingers served with vegetables and the good coffee. Cleanliness of the play space and seating areas is repeatedly highlighted, alongside the spacious, well-lit interior and gated garden for safety. Recurring complaints center on overcrowding, especially at weekends, with older children in the toddler section and parties making play difficult, while a few criticise the baby area’s poor condition and safety hazards. Several also point to high food prices for the quality, citing the £11 toastie meal and soggy eggs Benedict as examples. One reviewer reports a receipt mix-up at reception that was later resolved by a manager.

“I would say its not bad, deffinatly more for smaller kids. The soft play itself isnt very big i had a 7 and a 4 year old and the 7 year old was complaining she was bored after 20 mins. The toilets were not the cleanest and there wasnt any inflatable slides up when we was there. The price is reasonable for what it is and you get 2 hours play the cafe inside looked clean and tidy and menu was big but we didnt eat there.”

“Very very overcrowded to the point where it’s dangerous. I understand the play equipment has a ‘max’ capacity but it’s just not actually realistic that children can play properly when there’s that many on there, especially if you have older kids who are not so aware of the younger ones. My little girl got knocked several times in the toddler section by boys who must have been 8-10 years old and shouldn’t have been in there and being a child with SEN it just ruined it for her as she then wanted to go. Throw in a kids party as well at the weekend and it’s just chaos. Food is nice and they do keep the place clean and tidy. Will stick to going on the weekdays if I go again.”

“I've visited this cafe a few times, and unfortunately, it's been a letdown each time. The baby area is in a terrible state - safety hazards, mouldy equipment, and it's falling apart. Not exactly what you want to see when you're trying to enjoy a family outing. The service at reception is also pretty poor. When you leave, they just stare at you without even a courtesy goodbye. Not very friendly at all. And let's talk about the price - £11 for one child and one adult is just too steep, especially considering the state of the facilities.”

“It's nice soft play, children have a good time. It's plenty of place for sit down for lunch or drink. Nice and clean place, receptionist is really helpful and polite. Good for parents to chill out. I do recommend it.”

“Good kids play area. Viewable from most angles to keep an eye on the kids. Pricing is good for what you get. Ample seating and security is good too with only one way in / out of the place. This place can get very busy so can easily turn into a congested area. Unfortunately, a few cons to mention in the cafe now. The food is extortionately priced and the price to quality ratio isn’t the best. They charge over £11 for a toastie meal and it’s adequate at best. It’s overpowered with rocket and salad but the actual main food quantity is average at best. The eggs Benedict was very poor. It tasted soggy and for the price, it wasn’t great. Customer service could be improved too.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
