  “Cafè with varying selection of exceptional coffees from the best roasters around the world. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, being able to answer inquiries on the coffees. Food was very tasty and made with high quality ingredients. (This results in a slightly higher price, which I think is worth though.)”

  “Only popped in to grab a quick coffee to go and some beans. The place looks really nice, the staff was friendly and the coffee was good. Not sure about sitting in and food options as I didn’t get to fully experience these”

  “Best coffee experience in London ever. Lovely staff who gave me a small cup while waiting to be seated. I ordered a flat white as usual, and it’s just fruity, refreshing but lingering at the same time. So smooth and on the sweet side. LOVE THIS PLACE!”

  “Excellent cafe near Farringdon . Heard of this place from James Hoffmann channel as they sell square mile beans, but in fact they sell a variety of beans also like sey etc. can get pretty busy in the mornings , afternoons are a bit better coffee was excellent and so was the poached eggs on toast Overall enjoyed my brunch here at prufrock”

  “Absolutely loved this place. The coffee was outstanding and you can tell straight away that the team really cares about quality. I had a Prufrock breakfast and it was honestly one of the best starts to a morning I have had in London. Everything tasted fresh, simple, and very well balanced. The espresso was excellent and the filter coffee from Square Mile completely surprised me in the best way. Clean flavours, smooth texture, and very memorable. I even picked up some beans to take home because I did not want the experience to end there. Really excited to brew them again at home. The baristas were friendly, relaxed, and clearly very knowledgeable without being pretentious. The atmosphere is busy but comfortable, with a real coffee focused energy that makes you want to stay longer. If you enjoy specialty coffee or just want a proper breakfast with seriously good coffee, this place is a must visit. I will definitely come back next time I am in London.”

  “Finally, I got a good pour-over in London! Comparing to the filter coffee I had in Borough Market yesterday, this Ethiopian one is so nice!✨ At least, it’s at a regular+ level. It’s a WBC Champion’s cafe. Strongly recommend if you have high standards for coffee.”

  “Ended up at Profruck Coffee kinda by accident the other day. I was walking around, half awake, absolutely not in the mood for anything, and I saw the place and thought “fine, coffee, whatever.” Honestly didn’t expect much, but the coffee was actually solid. I got an iced one (yeah I know it wasn’t exactly iced-coffee weather but I do what I want), and it came out looking way better than I thought it would. Tasted good too — not watery, not burnt, just… normal in the best way. The vibe inside was kinda funny. Not loud, not super quiet either. Just people doing their own thing, some guy typing aggressively on a laptop, another person staring at the wall like they were reconsidering their life. The barista was calm, not fake-friendly, just normal-human friendly, which I appreciate. I sat by the window for a bit and the chair was slightly wobbly but I couldn’t be bothered to move, so I just dealt with it. Ended up zoning out with my coffee for like 20 minutes. Honestly, that’s all I wanted. No drama, no weird music blasting, no “look at our artisanal foam art” energy. Just a decent spot to get caffeine and chill for a bit. I’d go back, probably when I’m tired again, which is always.”

  “Had a lovely brunch on a weekday. Eggs were delicious, as well as bacon. Also tried a lovely almond gluten free pastry that was very nice! Service is friendly. Coffee was good. I would visit again.”
