About Prufrock Coffee
Prufrock Coffee is a roaster-forward coffee shop on Leather Lane in London, where trained baristas prepare bespoke brews in a buzzy, open-plan space with minimal furnishings. The coffee program anchors the daily rhythm, with a rotating Filter Coffee and a Flat White Coffee leading the drink menu. The food side is equally deliberate, with the Downland Farm Smoked Ham & Beans on Sourdough Poached Egg standing out as a signature plate. The open layout and straightforward setup make it a practical stop for laptop work or a quick takeaway.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers consistently single out the coffee as the defining draw, with the flat white and filter pour-over earning repeated praise for smooth, fruity, clean flavours and precise pouring technique. Several call the flat white among the best they have ever tasted, and the Square Mile and guest single-origin beans surprise diners in the best way, with multiple visitors taking beans home. The breakfast and brunch dishes also draw strong support, with reviewers highlighting the avocado sandwich, kimchi sandwich, and a simple but well-balanced Prufrock breakfast as fresh and satisfying starts to the day. A few note that the cafe can get quite busy, especially in the mornings, and one mentions a slightly wobbly chair, but these are minor notes against an otherwise steady stream of praise for friendly, knowledgeable baristas and a comfortable, coffee-focused atmosphere.

“Cafè with varying selection of exceptional coffees from the best roasters around the world. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, being able to answer inquiries on the coffees. Food was very tasty and made with high quality ingredients. (This results in a slightly higher price, which I think is worth though.)”

“Only popped in to grab a quick coffee to go and some beans. The place looks really nice, the staff was friendly and the coffee was good. Not sure about sitting in and food options as I didn’t get to fully experience these”

“Best coffee experience in London ever. Lovely staff who gave me a small cup while waiting to be seated. I ordered a flat white as usual, and it’s just fruity, refreshing but lingering at the same time. So smooth and on the sweet side. LOVE THIS PLACE!”

“I recently stopped by and had what was hands-down the best flat white I’ve ever tasted. If you thought you could only go to New Zealand for a proper flat white…well think again. The espresso was perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth, paired …”
